All goes well until the end.

I am back with the Wii Sports Resort: Ultimate Table Tennis Challenge. I knew this challenge was much more doable as I have already been to Lucia a couple times already.

Just like last time, the first few opponents were a walk in the park and easily taken care of. Give or take a couple points allowed in the first few matches. But honestly? I didn't have any issues with any of the opponents I faced. And easily got to Lucia. But... once I got to her... it was down the fucking hill again. As I was already down 0-4 before my first point. After that, I got destroyed 1-6 and had to restart. Granted I was taking some... risky moves and didn't work out. Lucia just doesn't want to make this easy. On my 2nd run, I once again blasted through the early opponents. And beat the shit out of the later opponents too. Oh and then Rainer showed up. And my gosh... Rainer is probably the scariest motherfucker I ever saw in this game. He really did have some sort of... grandpa vampire vibe going on. Despite him being creepy and scary and nightmare inducing, I still shut him out 6-0. Oh and then Julie showed up. Yeah the big lips lady. I've had experience before. I had a 5-3 lead on her and then it was tied 5-5. And then Julie took a 6-5 advantage with a nice off the side edge. I was getting very nervous at this point. But I did manage to tie it 6-6 and then beat her 8-6. But because I beat her by only 2, I had to play... Yoshi... (gulp). Thankfully though I beat her 6-4 in regulation. So it was back to Lucia! Hopefully this time I would not fuck up...

I fucked up. Well actually no my wiimote fucked up. Just out of nowhere... it's like the game is rigging this... game now because suddenly as we're playing, my paddle just JERKS right and Lucia takes a free fucking point making it 4-1 in her favor. However I do make things... interesting after I cut it all the way down to 1. 5-4 Lucia the score. All I had to do was play carefully. And what do I do? I decide to give the ball a nice hard right hit, and it sails right over the fucking table. And I lose. Again. It's like I can destroy literally anybody else. Even the one RIGHT before Lucia and once I do get to Lucia, I choke. Badly. She is a menace I tell you. But her luck won't last long. I will beat her. No matter where. No matter when. And I will beat Lucia without having lost to anybody.

And then maybe I'll see how much further I can go and like... lose to the opponent right after.
