oh! hi! it's a pleasure to see you again! you may know me as baldi from baldi's basics in education and learning. but you might not know that i am an online content creator! i was the earliest miicord streamer after the og miicord... had to leave. and this was my first live stream back in an extremely long time. of course if you don't count the one mglbonus stream i had.
for my first stream back, i played rhythm doctor! i especially picked this game because v hadn't played in... what does he call it... a long ass time? the first song i played was "unreachable". it was very fast paced. the first time i played it, even with just 2 beats, i didn't do too hot. and got my first and only f grade of the stream. oh wow now i know how it feels. my 2nd go at it, i was now familiar with the beat and i did do better. not perfect but got b+! i'm happy with it! next up was "song of the sea (night)" this was actually a sit back and relax one. it was another one of those levels where all you do is press the button to play the keyboard. while i did that, ada the female doctor came into nicole's coffee shop. seems like ada has been having a rough time as nicole notices her... high level tiredness. despite a simple job, it still seems quite stressful. for both the doctor and patient. just like with nicole. despite her treatment, she still seems to smoke cigarettes. not the brightest story but seems like those 2 seemed to enjoy catching up!
back to the actual levels. i actually went back to levels that had already been played. starting with "sleepy garden". this was because i wanted to unlock the night versions of those songs. and to do so, you need to get an a grade on those songs. it took me a while on this level to get the a. my first few goes, the beats started getting scrambled in my little pixelated head and i definitely screwed up horribly. but eventually i did leave all 3 hearts in tact. albeit a little cracked. but it was enough to get me an a+ grade! next up was "classy rank". featuring the samurai, logan, and richard hugh. definitely one of the catchiest songs of the game. and also one of the easiest beats to play along to. though it did take me a few tries. but i did get the a+ grade! next up it was on to move to play "lounge". this one was similar to "sleepy garden". though this time it was an owl instead of a chicken. this one was definitely one of the toughest songs in the pack. unlike "classy rank", it was very hard to keep up with all the beats. especially when there were 3 going on at once. it was hard for me to recognize the pattern and i got... way more misses than i wanted. i did... very slowly get better. took me about 11 minutes to get a b+ rank. after that, i definitely wasn't going to try again.
moving on with "classy (night}". similar to "classy rank". though this one included hailey. at first the beat was throwing me off. i kept thinking it was a do-do beat. but it was a do-pause-do beat at the start. though when i recognized that, it was actually decently easy. and i got a+ very early! my next song and probably one of the most hardest i played was "distant duet (night)" this one had like those... swing beats i believe they were called. it starts off easy. but very quickly it gets right into the action. and i was missing a lot of beats early on. at least the song was quite nice. it was like a melancholic happiness. and as i played through it, old pictures of what i assumed were the old couple went along the screen. you know... despite this being one of the hardest songs i played, i actually got a b+ grade around my 2nd try at the song. so maybe it wasn't that bad after all. after that, i went all the way back to the first level. yeah apparently v didn't even get a on this level. the nerve of that guy right? i went back to it and easily got a+. and then i played the night dubstep version of the song. of course being that it was the first level, i imagined it would be easy. and for the most part it wasn't bad. but i found myself missing a few more beats. despite thinking i got them down in time.
the environment for that level got quite interesting. it was like a 3d... very pink 8 bit looking world. i don't know what it had to do with the song. maybe because it was the calming part of the song. despite missing a few more notes, i still got a b+ grade. and i was happy to end the stream there. my first stream back was a musical one for sure. it's been an honor to get back with you all again and i hope you will join me for more stream in the future! congratulations you finished the blog post! now all you need to do is... GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!... hehehe!
