So... about my hiatus...

Yeah so here's some breaking news! I LIVE! HUZZAH! XD! Yeah so... I've been offline for much longer than I had anticipated. I'm sorry I hadn't really said much other than like a single Discord announcement. But I might as well give you a scoop on what had been going on.

So we have T-Mobile home internet. Allegedly... the fastest internet in the world. Except for us it's the biggest pile of fucking doo doo dung we've ever used. I'm sure some people have it better, but especially for what I do, it's utter garbage. Especially during my last few streams, I have been unfortunately dealing with severe frame droppage. Can't even remember the last time I did a full stream and my connection bars on OBS were a solid bright green. You see now why I locally record my streams too? XD! It's just been extremely frustrating and even if my kbps is high, it's not fun streaming when you're still dropping frames. And this certainly hadn't been my first rodeo dealing with this shit. The issue is while T-Mobile sounds nice on paper, it uses 5G towers. And you know what happens when everyone and their mother wants to use those towers all at once? Everything burns into a pile of fucking rubble HUZZAH! XD! So I just finally said... fuck it... I'm going to get my own internet. While there aren't a whole buttload of options, I did settle on Xfinity. We actually had used Xfinity for a long time before my parents ultimately pulled the plug on that. Mostly because of the cost. Albeit for me all I am paying for is internet. Whereas they were paying for Cable TV, Internet, and Phone. 45 bucks a month isn't... el cheapo... but hell even with my payroll it's not horrible. Plus hey I ain't paying for rent. Another win for V! XD! I do have my router but unfortunately it's still going to be a couple days since it looks like the coax outlet in my room actually needs to be made activated. And the earliest a tech can come over to look at it is this up coming Tuesday. May 12th. I'll also be having both my laptop and desktop computers hardwired so hopefully that'll even provide just a bit of a speed boost compared to having to rely on wireless speeds. And HOPEFULLY by then I won't be dealing with fucking blood red connection speeds on my live streams again and I can actually fucking get back to The Winter Jackpot which isn't much of a Winter event anymore. I don't know... do you think I should rename it to The Summer Jackpot? But at the same time I also do want to indulge just a little in the Summer Sale. Not to the... fucking extent that I did for the Winter Sale. I don't need to blow another thousand dollars. XD!

I'm sorry that this break has been THIS long. I certainly never intended on it. But hopefully once I get things back up and running... I can stream in fucking peace again. And not deal with dropping 40 frames a second. Again I'm not trying to put shit on T-Mobile. Their internet service just has not been my cup of tea.

But then again, I don't drink tea. XD!
