So many lines of... sand!

Hey everyone! Monika here from the Miicord Crew! I am super excited to be able to start streaming again myself after... a very long while. I'm so happy the 6 of us get to unite again and create some fun content for you! For my very first stream back, I decided to go with something simple yet fun in Sandtrix+!

The first mode I tried was Endless with 4 colors at medium speed. And holy heck was it a challenge. You have to get 100 thousand points. It starts off easy but it speeds up and I found myself getting nervous not even 50 thousand points in as I was quickly rising more and more to the top before I ran out of room. So I moved on to High Score mode with 4 colors on slow speed which was way easier. It was 40 thousand points for the star here. While I didn't go off the top, I didn't beat the challenge my first try because High Score mode gives you limited time and I didn't get the 40 thousand in the time it gave me. On my 2nd go, I was less than half way to 40 thousand halfway into the time of that level. And I knew I had to pick up the pace. That's when I started to get hot and I even got a times 5 multiplier which really helped. I actually got all the way to a times 7 multiplier and beat the challenge with nearly 75 thousand points!

The next mode was clearing 40 lines with 4 colors on slow speed. Time was unlimited here so there was no stress and I easily cleared the 40 lines. The next and last mode I checked out for the night was stacks mode. Now I originally had no clue what stacks meant but it seems like if you don't clear a line in X amount of time, a little line of sand gets added to the bottom and pushes all your sand upwards. If you clear a line, those little demon sand lines go away at a time. My first go wasn't great and not even 2 minutes in I already ran out of room. Hopefully my next go would go better. And it did! Despite me getting close once, I went over 7 minutes in and scored over 180 thousand points. Which definitely got me the star that round! And that was a good place to call it for the night!

I had a lot of fun streaming again and I am beyond excited to stream again! And maybe a little excited for us to poke fun at Sonic.EXE again... just don't tell him I said that.
