So now we're messing with the timeline.

I have returned to Not For Broadcast: The Timeloop! After not being able to just remove the machine or stop people from activating it, Boseman and I started using extra guests to find secrets out about Dr. Charles Magnus.
After once again trying to look for the right save profile, I jumped in and continued on with the episode! This time we started with Helen Canterbury-Boatshoe... great name... to find out that Dr. Magnus had 122 blind dates. Half of them not showing up and 22 more also not showing up. Dr. Magnus also mentions a "her" but we don't know who "her" is. Also Helen seems to be very... I don't know... a romantic type in this version of the loop and some romantic music also plays while she talks. Dr. Magnus mentions he bought a cat 12 years ago. And that he ran him over on his 45th birthday... ouch. At least cats have 9 lives. Helen seems disappointed that Jeremy isn't a cat person. But Jeremy says it's not that big deal. As they get to activating the machine, Chester finds out he can't press the button with Helen. Which I guess disappoints him. Jeremy and Helen press the button together which ends the loop.
The next guest to bring on is Jordan Rankly the celebrity chef. Oh yeah this will be a good one. Jordan begins building her character and seems fascinating that Dr. Magnus' mother left when he was younger. And once the cameras are rolling, Jordan spends no time just mocking everyone and making everyone feel like shit. Dr. Magnus explains the euphoria machine. But Jordan would rather have Dr. Magnus explain in food terms rather than musical terms. Oh and when I said Dr. Magnus' mother left when he was younger, I meant the moment when he was born. And even then Jordan still mocks that. That's just hurtful. Jordan gets extremely impatient when it comes to pushing the button and rushes it. She is quite the character.
Next up, we decide to get really chaotic and bring in every extra guest we brought in so far. Alan James, Geoff Algebra, Crazy Neil, Helen Canterbury-Boatshoe, and Jordan Rankly. It really does feel like the Night Of Smiles is really less about the machine now. Dr. Magnus mentions he had his 2nd conversation with his father after being traumatized by the clowns in the circus. Also it seems like Dr. Magnus once had a euphoria machine prototype that used helium. And he really didn't like that... and that also seemed to traumatize him. He freaked the hell out just thinking about it. And just left everyone... speechless. Oh yeah... Crazy Neil exists and brings in his own machine. There's also a convenient piece of paper Geoff Algebra reads mentioning Dr. Magnus was born on January 1st, 193X at 7:43 PM. And that he had 2 interesting birth marks. One last important piece of info we find out is that Dr. Magnus went to the circus in 1956. I finish out the day. The group all decides to push the button together. So this time Chester gets to touch Helen's hand... which makes him pass out.
Once time is frozen, it's time to decipher the combination codes. Which is... a puzzle in itself. I did eventually get all the numbers and when I went to press the small button to confirm my answers... one of them was correct... out of the 6... oh boy. The 1 I got right was the easiest in how many chats Dr. Magnus had with his father. 2. I do get the unsuccessful blind dates number correct after realizing I had to subtract the total amount divided by 2 minus the 22 extra no shows from... well the total again. The rest were... confusing. Hell I even started to brute force the lumps one as that one was only 2 numbers. That one was 28. Which was confusing. Given Boseman wrote down that the combination to that one was the number for Copper which was 29. But the machine accepted 28 which is nickel. I don't know if I missed something or if that was a programming error. The last easiest one was the time Dr. Magnus' mother left which was 0743... which is what I originally thought. Turns out it was 1943. 24 hour time. Funny how in the notes it's specifically saying 7:43 PM. The last 2, the marriage date and cat's age were the hardest to figure out. I brute forced that cat's age since that was also a 2 digit number. Thankfully this one was quick one as the light went green when I put in 6. I don't know how you would figure that. Apparently you had to take the current year (1985), subtract 45 from it, the age Dr. Magnus was when he killed the cat, then subtract 1934 from it. His birth year. Which you get by subtracting 22 from 1956. Yeah that's not confusing at all.
The last combination was the hardest one. The marriage date. Which was 8 fucking numbers. I definitely wasn't going to be brute forcing this one. Though turns out my original guess wasn't too far off. I needed to add 5 to the year of the circus trip. Making the answer 01011961 for January 1st, 1961. After that, all the lights were green. HUZZAH! And that ends... part 1 of the episode... yep... there's more. After all the lights turned green, a panel opened up which let me move some wires over. In this case, I swapped over 1 and TA. So what does that do? Well now we go to an alternate dimension... oh we're doing this now huh? In part 2, we try to find out who this "her" is that was special to Dr. Magnus. In this alternate dimension, it's similar to Day 1975: The Sterility. However this time, Jeremy takes place of Megan. Stacey is more of a shy type as opposed to an arrogant type. The euphoria device is still in the building and Dr. Magnus and Chester are still featured. Stacey is worried that reality will go horribly wrong once the machine is activated. But Dr. Magnus ensures that everything will be alright. I don't seem to find anything related to this "her" in this alternate day 1975 and Boseman doesn't mention anything about me also not finding anything. I get a brief glimpse at 1 mixed with TV. Which seems to be very... Chris.
OI OI!
