Sans here from the Miicord Crew! Here with the 7th installment of the random games series in the Halloween Special 2025 block! This go around, I would play not 1, but 2 games! Aren't I so lucky? That being because the first game I played was pretty short.
That first game being "Start Survey?". A short game about... taking a survey. Perfectly harmless. Hell I don't even have to take the survey if I want. I can just click no and... game over really. The survey never happens. It's just me, my room, and the shit on my desk. But alright alright I'll play the game for real. The survey starts innocently. Asking me if I'm having a nice day... the birds chirping... flowers blooming... on days like this kids like you SHOULD BE BURNING IN HE-ah... sorry. XD! Got a little carried away there. It asks me if I have responsibilities. Just one. Being a cool kickass skeleton! The survey asks me to look around... it's a basic looking bedroom for sure. Not exciting. As the survey asks if I have had a panic attack, the digital clock goes off. What was it trying to catch me off guard? It didn't work. Now the survey gets deep. Asking me if I question my existence. I'll have you know I am as real as I can ever be! Then it asks if I believe there is a God. I know my answer may come off as controversial but... well... I see myself as my own God. So yes. I do believe! The survey asks if I am answering the questions out of free will. Well I mean yeah it's not like Sonic.EXE was putting a gun to my skull. XD! And yes I was certain. The survey asks if I feel comfy in my room. Yeah I'd say so. Again, it's basic but comfy. The survey asks if I'd be scared if the lights went out. Oh please I sleep with the lights off all the time. Then the survey asks if I wondered when I die. Wouldn't that be something to think about? Either knowing when you die or how you die. The survey asks if I cleaned off my desk?... uh... yeah! Totally! There's a folder to the right of the laptop, inside? Huh... a very familiar looking background! I'm sure you've seen it from days past. I actually got ahead of the survey when I tossed the image in the trash before the survey even told me to. Then the survey asked if I had internet access... I was expecting something very interesting to happen with that one. It goes on to ask if I went missing, if anyone would come look for me. Well of course! I have 5 amazing friends who would be more than willing to find me if I went missing! We're all friends here at the Miicord Crew!
The survey then asks if anyone would hear me scream. Again, I got 5 amazing friends. They'd be there for me! And then... the dreaded question... do I know the person standing behind me? And the answer?... no because I can't see fucking ghosts. XD! Alright... false alarm... back to the sur... there was a figure behind the laptop. Now it's gone. But I saw it. The survey asks if I am alone. I now know... I am not. The survey gives me some time to relax. I must say, I did feel very relaxed. The survey asks if my feelings are real and not programmed. Sweetie... you better believe they are very real! I ain't a beeper or a booper. If you want one of those... talk to Monika. XD! The survey asks if there is a meaning to life, I'd say absolutely! And yes I very much know who I am! I'm Sans the Skeleton! It asks if I know what is happening... I don't know... I'm conflicted between yes and no. And then it asks if I was told the truth about my existence, if I'd deny it in hopes for a better answer. Again... conflicting. If I say yes, then I'd risk denying the fact that I am an underground Skeleton who loves cool jokes and has only 1 HP. If I say no, I'd accept it saying that I am a hotdog. Very conflicting. XD! And then in big letters it puts MILLI LIV on screen... that... that is not my name. XD! Seems like a certain someone forgot to update the username of the account on the gaming PC we were playing on. (COUGH) (COUGH) V (COUGH) (COUGH). The survey asks if I am really the one answering the questions. To that I say... of course I am! Then it asks if it could prove to me that I am not sentient, would I be shocked. Dammit what is it with the conflicting questions! Finally the survey asks if I want to know the truth. Sure. Might as well let it hit me. I look deep out the window. I can see 1's and 0's floating along the sky. Almost like steam from a chimney. But the deep truth is that the world I was in wasn't real. It was all 1's and 0's. I was set free and... that's it. That's how the game ends. No credits or nothing. The game just closes. Huh... bit of a disappointing ending. Nothing different happens if I reopen the game. But hey... that was just an appetizer. Now it's time for the real meat and potatoes! I give the wheel a 2nd spin and it lands on Andy's Apple Farm! A very... FRUITY horror game! XD!
Getting into it, it looks like I am a beta tester for the game. And it's up to me to report any bugs and glitches I find. Oooh this should be fun! From the file select screen I can pick 1 of 2 files. Either the new blank one or the 2nd one that seems to be in progress. Well really I can only pick file 1. I can't pick 2. So I get started in file 1. Andy introduces himself to me. He is literally an apple. Okay I didn't see that coming. He gives me a brief tutorial and it's time to get going. Andy catches up with his friends who are having a picnic. Awwww! Andy has 4 friends. Felix, Melody, Margret, and Claus. Melody suggests that the group should play some games after the picnic. Now that sounds like fun! Some loving friendly games! What could go wrong? For each game I play, I'll get a bonus sticker. And if I get all stickers, I get... Andy's house keys!... that's a little random. The game bugs out a bit when Andy freaks out why his friends took his keys. But it very quickly fixed itself. I can't quite play with Claus yet. He tells me to see Melody. I end up seeing Felix at the lake. He has me play a simple fishing game where I have to catch some fish and avoid the boots. Doing so will give me a bonus sticker! This doesn't seem too bad! I get the bonus sticker and move on to the next friend. I go to see Margret next. But before I can, the game bugs out and this time, doesn't recover and I have to restart the game. Thankfully it keeps a save so I don't have to go all the way back to the start. Also the game displayed some weird text about someone drowning? And they weren't saved?... wait I just played a game at a lake... no... no surely it's not... nah I'm overthinking it. There are tons of lakes in the world! So I restart the game and this time I can play Margret's game. Fruit sorting. Which... I totally win my first try... totally. I mean it's not hard to sort Apple's, Pears, and Cherries. Once I do that, I get Margret's bonus sticker!... I said I get Margret's bonus sticker!... I SAID I GET MARGRET'S AHHH JUMPSCARE FUCK!... cut suddenly to a cutscene revolving around... who I assume is a husband and wife perhaps. We'll name them... Jack and Jill! They're fighting about something. Jack accusing Jill of acting like nothing happened. So that must mean something horrible happened and Jack isn't happy about it.
Apparently there was an accident that someone the 2 knew was involved in. And Jill was trying to explain that it wasn't her... her as in someone else's fault and that the accident was out of Jack and Jill's control. Were they there at the time? We'll call this mystery her by the way... Jill Jr. Remember earlier when the game mentioned someone drowning? Well based on what Jack said, it sounds like Jill Jr. had a chance to save a mystery him... we'll call Jack Jr. So it turns out Jack is not named Jack. But instead... Thomas. Jill claims that Jill Jr. was scared. Which begs the question... if say Thomas and Jill were there... why didn't they come to help? Again... assuming they were there at the time. So Thomas wants to blame Jill Jr. Jill doesn't. Jill then kicks Thomas out... and then suddenly the screen flashes and the 2 are replaced by Margret... hmm... odd... So if you couldn't already tell, this game is supposed to be a play on the retro arcade game scene from the Walten Files YouTube series. A fictional lost and found footage series that is very Five Nights at Freddy's inspired. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should. It's pretty damn good! Anyways, I regain control of Andy and meet up with Melody the moon. Her game is... Friday Night Funkin. I mean at this point every game that's a rhythm game that uses arrows is Fright Night Funkin. That's just how it be. The first song Melody plays is pretty easy. Basic Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Her 2nd song? Well suddenly Rush E intensifies. Andy is now somewhere completely different. A dark cloudy night. I find a car to my right and get into it which starts an audio recording. It sounds like the guy I heard from when I first launched the game. Perhaps he's the developer of the game and he's making an audio log of the early stages of his game. Now that I think about it... going back I realize the guy at the start said his name was (((Thomas))) Eastwood. He mentions a Kam and She seems busy. Perhaps this Kam is the one who couldn't save Thomas Jr. Perhaps her brother? The audio log seemingly cuts off and I get the bonus sticker from Melody. Finally I meet with Claus who wants to play Chess... does anyone fucking know how to play Chess? I just move one single pawn and go checkmate! XD!
So instead Claus offers us to play I Spy. Which is pretty easy. Select the RED apple, FLOATING cloud, GROWING tree, DANGEROUS axe... why is there an axe there? And then Claus has us select the... uh... SEES... I don't know what a sees is but for the hell of it, I select Claus himself and... I guess... that's the right answer. Suddenly I am playing as Claus himself. I don't know where I am but the environment looks very glitched. Out of nowhere this banging sound can be heard and oh fuck Andy is coming toward me and he has an axe. I'd run but he is a shit load faster than I am. Cut to another cutscene with Thomas and... not Jill. Looks like it's Thomas and Arthur. Thomas has fucking lost it. He's got an axe and he looks like he knows how to use it. Thomas accuses Arthur of killing... them... and gets some sort of... revenge? Who exactly is them? Is it Kam and her (maybe) brother? Is it someone else? Once Thomas finishes the job, we see a more realistic photo of him has he suddenly freaks out over what he did.... annnd then I get Claus' bonus sticker. So now I have all stickers and Andy can get his keys!... in a... dark... scary... horrifying... shed. I think this was a ploy to trap Andy. As once he's in, his friends lock him in there. Douchebags. So now I have to traverse the shed and get the keys. I don't exactly know what I am doing. Some stairs seemingly change the color of the area. But alas, I am caught by someone... but then I am teleported to a room that has a lantern I can take. So I take it and seemingly met by a Peter the Pumpkin who wants to play tag with me. And won't take no for answer. So now I'm suddenly playing another game. I'm it first as I have to catch Peter. Which is pretty easy. Even if I get stuck against the wall. I can still easily catch him because he does eventually slow down. So now it's Peter's turn being it. I have to avoid him while getting the pumpkins. And suddenly the game gets a shit load harder as my view is seriously lowered. I don't even get a pumpkin before he chops me down. Peter's sprite stays on screen for an... uncomfortably long time before we cut to another cutscene of Thomas alone in some sort of... storage room as this... corrupted... mishmashed... several eyed pixelated... thing... becomes a big demonic looking head creature... yeah I don't like that.
Everything disappears besides Thomas and the head. Thomas goes all red and corrupted and then... blackness... nothing... absolutely... nothing... nothing more than the sound of a faint static. Pressing buttons did nothing and eventually the whole screen went black. Sure was a good thing I had my friends near me. My fellow crew members. After a while I accepted that nothing was happening and restarted the game. I had to redo the shed and tag game. After the cutscene, I was once again stuck on the black screen... shit... what do I do? I needed a little help. I found out I could actually hold right and I did hear walking noises. I was indeed moving. Eventually, the overworld music plays gets... corrupted and then fades away. And now I was stuck in blackness again. This time I could not move. And that's where I ended for the night. For all I know I was done with the game... and... I may or may not have accidentally deleted my save file thinking I could delete save 2... so uh... hey... I was done anyway. If V wants to play this, he can replay where I left off on. I don't know maybe it was a demo or older version hosted on itch.io. There's a Steam version that looks to be more polished and complete. Yeah he can play that one.
While I sit and chill and play my colorful Mario games!
