A whole party!

Back again one more time for another round of Mario 35 continued interest weekly tournaments! I've been doing considerably better the past few weeks. However little did I know that these matches would be some of the hardest I've played for one big reason.
Match 1 this week, Lovin' An Elevator. We start in... 1-2 this time. Yeah it's not 1-1. I'm shocked as you are. Then next up is 1-4. Looks like all the levels in this queue have small moving platforms in them. Same with 2-4. Same with 7-4. Annnd that's where my elevator ride ended. I guess my jump was too strong and I just completely missed the small platform. Talk about embarrassment. I finish in a disgusting 10th place here. Not ideally a great start. And you're telling me I had to wait eight whole minutes before the match ended? Oof. Hopefully the next match goes better for me. Bullet Hell is the name of the match. This one actually does start in 1-1. The classic staple! 2-1. Another staple. 5-1. Mm-hmm I am familiar with this one. 7-1 is where the bullets come out to play. I get out of there. But with some bumps and scratches. 5-2 is next. I had no more roulette spins and sadly I get hit in the head with Hammer Bro feet. I finish 11th of 17 here. Oh yeah did I mention 17 people played in this match? That's.... considerably more than usual. This match shouldn't have been called Bullet Hell. It was more like Hammer Hell. Because holy hell there was a lot of hammers. But despite that and the player count, Joshy still won the match because he is just fucking him. Oh hey, speaking of Hammers, the next match is called "Hammer Time!"... fucking fantastic. Oh and this time there's 18 people playing! The whole left side of the screen was filled with players! We almost started to have to fill the right side! I don't think my leaderboard odds this week were looking... good... we start with our staples 1-1 and 2-1. Then it's 6-1. Bowser and his hammers can't take me down. Hell I even got a KO! How about that? 5-2 is taken down and so is 5-1. Then it's on to 7-4 where thankfully this time I do get past the first small platforms. And big bad Bowser is taken down again! 3-1 is full with a shit load of hammers. Same with 8-3. And with a lack of roulette spins... yeah I was fucked. Of 18 people, 17 technically, I finished 8th. Joshy finished 1st. He is him.
Catapult Crash, Canonball Run is next... is that a typo? Once again we got 18... 17 people technically playing. 1-1 and 2-1 are our staples as per usual. I get my coins in 6-2 and take down level 3-1 and run across the trees of 3-3. 5-1 is of course a staple and I get past the hammers in level 5-2. 1-2 is... well... I've played this level probably about 3 trillion times now. I warp to 8-1. Another staple. And I some how make it past the clouds and hammers in 7-1. I get past the clouds of 3-2 and make it to 8-2. But unfortunately, the clouds were just too much at that point. Well no not even that. I just took a stupid jump and there was a massive pit waiting for me to say hello. But hey... I finished 5th place! Of 17 people! I'm on the leaderboard! HUZZAH! Guess who won? Yeah... the guy who is him. Fish Bridge Frenzy is the next match. It starts with 1-1... 1-1 doesn't have fish. Nor does 2-1 or 6-2... I think this host really loves 1-1, 2-1, and 6-2. Now 2-3? That does have fish. Too much fish. And a shit load of plants too. I mean seriously I had a plant every other tile in this level. It fucking killed me. I got dead last. Fuck me. At least everyone else made it past the fish. I watch as everyone else crushes all the levels in the match. And what very well could be my very last time participating in the Mario 35 weekly tourneys for a reason I will explain later. NoTM3 wins the match and Joshy wins the week. When does he not? Maybe I should get some lessons for him.
Oh wait... this was my final Mario 35 week anyway.
