Another redemption already?

I am back yet again with MLB The Show 24 to redeem the Tigers again who recently got swept by a shit Pirates team. So I had to see if I can redeem them.
Starting off in game 1, who had Paul Skenes pitching, I manage to hit a homer off of him on the 2nd pitch. Which I was not expecting. Gee I think Paul Skenes sucks. Jack Flaherty is my starting pitcher here in game 1. And I do not give up any runs in bottom 1st. In top 2nd, I have guys on 1st and 2nd with no out but sadly do not score any runs. Though I get a cool ass ground out in bottom of 2nd... from the outfield. Meadows throws to McKinstry for the ground out to 2nd! In top 3rd, Colt Keith singles and then Parker Meadows hits yet ANOTHER homer off of Skenes to give us a 3-0 lead! See Tigers? It's not that hard. In bottom 3rd, I had a ball go right back to Flaherty to which I threw to 2nd and then 1st for a 1-6-3 double play! The 4th inning is pretty quiet. So is the 5th. Despite base runners, no runs were scored. Until Wenceel Perez hits a solo bomb in top 6th! And Colt Keith gets an RBI single as well! No action in the 7th inning. Same with the 8th. No more runs in the top of the 9th. So it was up to me and Will Vest to close out game 1! I do give up a solo homer in the bottom 9th. But that was it as I took a 5-1 victory in game 1!
Into game 2, I once again start with a 1-0 lead after Kerry Carpenter hits a solo bomb to deep right! Casey Mize pitches in bottom 1st and gives up nothing. In bottom 2nd I do put on 2 but thankfully, Meadows great speed allows us to get out with no harm! For some reason the CPU decides to try advancing one of my guys to home plate in top 3rd... which was a horrible idea. Even in MLB The Show 24, some running decisions are absolute bullshit. At least I don't give up any runs in bottom 3rd. I do give up a run in bottom 4th to tie it 1-1. Thankfully that was the worst of it. The Pittsburgh CPU decides to turn a routine ground out into a free double because the throw was... a little high. And a tag to 3rd was a good idea as I got there safely! And a Colt Keith double gets the runner to score! Giving me a 2-1 advantage! But the celebration was short lived since Pittsburgh tied it at 2 in the bottom 5th. A quiet 6th inning with a nice double play in bottom 6th takes place. Quiet 7th too. I get a double with Colt Keith in top 8th and then bunt with Parker Meadows. And thankfully Pittsburgh drops the ball so everyone is safe! And a Kerry Carpenter sac fly gives me a nice 3-2 lead! Though I never know even though I do know how to tag just one player leads me to being double played. Thankfully I had no outs anyway so the inning continued. Though I'm probably going to tie the game up again as I give up a triple in bottom 8. I do get a strike out. But a sac fly would still let Pittsburgh tie the game. So I intentionally walk a guy which was so fucking worth it as that let me get a double play! Tying the game avoided! HUZZAH! No insurance runs in top 9th so it's up to me and Jason Foley to close out the game. Which we do and win it 3-2! Series dub! Can we get the sweep?
Going into game 3, with... Brendan White pitching. No clue who that is. I don't think Troy Melton was in this game so I had to use a substitute. I think that substitute sucked since I gave up a 1-0 lead to Pittsburgh. At least that was all I gave up. Unfortunately I would go on a struggle bus in this game. Pittsburgh leads 2-0 after bottom 2nd. I had a couple guys on in top 3rd but couldn't get any runs. Not a whole lot of action happens until bottom 6th when I give up another run with no outs too. I need to start scoring. Of course another dumb ass CPU choice forces me another out. It's like the game doesn't want me to win. I do however get a solo bomb in top 8th to put it within 2. Sadly that was all I got. And no more in top 9th to give Pittsburgh a series salvager with a 3-1 victory. Hey... at least I out hit the Pirates in game 3 11-7. Moral victories. And hey, I still won the series. So therefore... we call that... A REDEMPTION!
