Detroit VS Everybody is back! I play the 2nd to best team from 2023 which was the Baltimore Orioles in MLB The Show 24. And I just got to ask... how the hell were the Orioles ever good? If even. I mean they had over 100 wins in 2023 and crashed, collapsed, and burned horribly in the playoffs. And I think the Orioles overall are just allergic to the Tigers.

I take a very early 3-0 lead in the 1st inning. With a Wenceel Perez 2 run RBI and then a Matt Vierling sac bunt. The 2nd inning was pretty quiet. In the 3rd inning, a high curveball somehow got blasted and the Orioles cut my lead just down to 1. I also could've ended the inning after striking out Anthony Santander. But my brain shut off at that time and for some reason I threw the ball to 2nd. Silly me. But Colton Cowser grounded out so all was good.

Bottom of the 3rd, I got a 3 run homer with Wenceel Perez. So our lead was then 4. Make it 5 with a first pitch homer for Matt Vierling with a perfect swing! Top of the 4th and I was already very comfortable! And let's add on with a Dingler Dinger in the bottom of the 4th! I even had to confirm my sliders were reset to normal during this game. It almost felt too easy. Top of the 5th, I made a very sad error. My throw to first was way off and the runner got a free 2nd base. And another stupid error when I didn't realize I still had control of Dillon Dingler. Which gave Baltimore 2 free runs. You're welcome.

After that, it was all zeroes for the rest of the scoreboard. And Beau Brieske closed out the game and the Tigers win 8-4! Really 8-2 if it weren't for that stupid error. But what do I know? A lower score isn't just guaranteed just because you play more perfectly. But why should I be bitching? I won the game dammit!
