I return once again to Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore! I have a job to do. Take care of Daimur. And I waste no time going straight to his lair. Or... I'm outside it from what it looks like. It's a very... damp... mossy... wilted forest. There seems to be this little demon girl who is apparently a HUGE fan of Daimur. Well ain't that nice? And she isn't very... thrilled that Arzette is trying to take him down. Note that the girl doesn't realize she's talking to Arzette. Oh yeah... the girl is thirsty too so Arzette offers her some water. Oh but she doesn't want that. She wants crisp oil. Of course she does! Arzette should've known better! I use the souls to get through. There's a minigame to play. I call it the Hotel Mario minigame as I have to close the doors. Oh but this one is hard mode. As I close the doors, I also have to deal with falling rocks wanting to squash my ass. Did they? They did not. Once I hop in the tree, I have to use a lantern to find my way. After I light the beacons, I am able to continue to the next section. Very lit up with a gauntlet of enemies to take care of. The background almost resembles an old abandoned building with graffiti designs on it. It seems like the deeper I go, the more abandoned this place becomes. Yikes. Daimur does not take care of this place. I wanted to explore a little more but I guess we're hopping right into the fight with Daimur. His attack? Chucking books at me. I am able to use my power ring to deflect them but they don't hit him. I can't seem to hit him. Not with the souls. And those books sting I tell you. Doesn't seem like anything I have hurts him. When I get close to him, he flees off. And I have to jump across the mushrooms and rocks as he keeps fleeing. And a point of advice? Don't touch Daimur. Bad things just happen. Eventually, and it's just kind of a miracle this worked bout but I use my Magic Cloak which makes me invulnerable to the attacks. One hit to Daimur and he's... giving up?. No... I'm serious... one fucking hit. Instead he wants Arzette to join him. Lol yeah as if. Arzette slashes Daimur down with her sword and he is a dead boy.

Following Arzette's victory, she is crowned queen of Faramore. However... she doesn't accept it. Instead, she makes Faramore an open kingdom that will belong to all citizens. Arzette looks up to her father. Saying she has won. And that's it. That's the end of the game. While the credits roll, I still have a quest. 100 percent the game. I also unlocked boss rush mode and hero mode which I assume might be a much more difficult game. There's not much to do in Faramore Town. Although I do free the guy trapped in the library... well... I mean I do but the guy doesn't realize it. Despite Arzette saying she literally got up to the same platform just fine. Maybe the guy is blind. Cypress wants me to get a couple plants to liven his place up. I just need to know where to find them. Lord Kari wants me to find a bell for the town. Barnabuss wants me to find a compass like my gosh I saved your kingdom and their way of thanking Arzette is asking her... "hey find this for me.". I'll get them when I want. I head over to Durridin Forest as I have a candle, medallion, and key items to find. I see the medallion as I am climbing the tree on the far left. How do I get it? There's a secret hole on the same level as the medallion on the tree. The candle is above the door on the tree in the upper right. Where the boss fight area is, there's a wall of stone I can break with my bomb gauntlet to access an area. I use the candle to burn the banner and collect a magic chainmail which doubles my health. Nice! That's everything for Durridin. I still have a medallion and key item I need to collect in Cogwyn Caves. Dropping in the first light hole, I use the lantern to light the area. There's a downward steps area. and at the bottom left of that is a little hidden area containing the medallion. Deep in the caves I meet Mr. Snail... or... Mrs. Snail. I don't know. It's a snail. Poor fellow is hungry and needs some... funky. Now where do I find something funky?

I look around for a while to no avail. But towards the top area, there's some blocks that can be broken with souls which leads me to getting the rope ladder. Now I know who can use that. I don't end up finding anything funky in the cave. I just head back into the town and give the ladder to the man trapped up top in the library. And uh... I guess there was a window back there? And he just jumps down it? Uh... okay yeah sure. Oh yeah by the way... Rudy? The... white wolf man looking dude living in the back end of town? Now that I've collected a couple more medallions, he is impressed with my work and has me meet him in Chillinax Peaks for another race. So that's where I go! It came down to the wire but I met back up with him before my time ran out. And he gives me some rubies as a reward. There's nothing else of interest there. I do head to the town shop and pick up Mortar's Scrolls. Anyways, from there I don't exactly know where to go. So I consult ChatGPT for assistance on how to get this funky shit for the snail. Turns out I have to go to Fort Findula, complete the gauntlet of enemies challenge, and collect the sacred oil at the end. Go back to the demon girl at Daimur's lair, give her the oil in exchange for a funky mushroom to which I then give to the snail back in the caves. And exchange for that, I get some snail salt... ew... with the salt I can go to Ryba River and give it to the... fish butcher lady. And my gosh... there's no fucking shot there's that much salt in that tiny ass thing. Also she just ate a fish raw. Ew. I end up giving a Cleaver Shovel out of it. Cool? I decide to end it off there. I am now 68% done with the game.

Damn... it couldn't have been 69%?
