It may have been 1 in the morning. But I played some Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania! Last time, I finished world 4 "Inside the Whale". And now that I was outside the whale, it was time to move to an amusement park! World 5-1 was easy. And yet I made it harder than it needed to be. Going too fast and getting greedy when I could've taken the goal cost me. I mean I did beat the level. But it took me way longer than needed. 5-2 was also tricky. Seems like were keeping on the theme of thin lines... or... line. And I definitely fell off it several times. There were times it looked like I could've fallen through the goal. But perspective is a bitch. I did eventually beat that level. And no, there is nothing at the end of the thin line. I checked.

5-3 was a chaos fest filled with balls. Balls you easily bounce off of. The goal was straight ahead but with the moving area and bouncing balls, it wasn't an easy breeze but still got through it quickly. 5-4 was a straight path to the end. But the path was split in 2. And moving clockwise and counter-clockwise. I thought I could just easily run straight ahead until I found out the rotation switched. 5-5 was a nightmare with several bars violently spinning. Yeah I wasn't going to beat that level... but there were these handy-dandy switches that stopped the bars from spinning and it was an easy decent to the goal! 5-6 oh boy... another stupid level where you have to get thrown up high and hope you can land on a platform without bouncing off and dying horribly. I did that a lot.

I used the level viewer and found out that on first jump, I could actually land on the goal platform. Didn't get it first try obviously. But I did get it. 5-7 eas pretty easy. Just zigging and zagging your way to the goal. 5-8 was called Tower. And it sure wasn't wrong. It's a weird tower but a tower. I found the best strategy was to slowly move through the teleporter and aim yourself so you would fall to the bottom middle edge that had the goal tape. Again... didn't take me my first try. And had a lot of damn close calls. I got very lucky with 5-9. Small rotating bars that I easily got through holding up. 5-10 was not too bad either. Just carefully moving my away around the grid board and crossing the goal.

After that, we find out that big bad monkey whatever his name is makes us really... really small. It's not really noticeable once we start world 6. Which starts like hell. You have 2 grids of platforms, rising and falling and then spinning at mach speeds. It's impossible to hang on to those grids. It's goal or bust. I found that if I started on the rising platform, then that would be my best shot. Of course it was still hard to hell. And I also found out that I was making it harder than it needed to be. Because later I than started to start on a tile further right and it was much easier to traverse my way through and cross the goal.

6-2 was thankfully easier. It was a seesaw platform. but just loop your way around the holes and you're good. 6-3 was named after an internet browser. And had you going down circles of descending stairs. Which each set having steps being further apart. But I took my time and crossed the goal! 6-4, I beat stupid lucky. The goal was spinning at mach speeds and I was literally at the right place at the right time. 6-5, Tiers brought tears to my eyes. Bad tears. There's like 5 levels of platforms you can choose from. The highest having the shortest but also narrowest path to the goal. Bottom most having the longest path but widest. Albeit the path was still narrow. And when I got to the goal, I still failed.

6-6 was about speed, angles, and accuracy. Few cliffs to the goal. With each cliff having a more narrow path than the last to bounce to the next cliff. 6-7 was not a breeze but not hell either. Pointy paths getting more narrow as you get closer to the goal. 6-8 was easy. Ride down the ramp, get through the portal, cross the goal. 6-9 was probably the toughest of the world. The goal was right there but you couldn't cross it because it was too low. And there was a million switches. Only 1 of them raising the goal. The other buttons flinging you way off the map. And even when you do press the right button, you got to be quick. Because that goal doesn't stay up forever.

6-10 had some cheese. Just ride the edges of the flaps until you get to the goal. Took me a few goes but I'm sure you know by now... I got it. And that's where I ended the stream. 2 full worlds completed and I didn't take a long ass time on one level! HUZZAH! When I come back, I'll get to play in a relaxing hot spring... well... not really. It' s more of the kiddie pool section of the spring.
