After finishing the Humongous Summer Games block, it's time for a new block! The Summer Games Done Quick 2025 block! This block will feature games showcased during... well... Summer Games Done Quick 2025! For the first game in this block, I checked out Mega Man Maker!

Crasman Hard Mode was the first level I played. Given Crashman was spelled wrong, I knew I was in for a treat. And I certainly was. As enemies were out to get me. And breathing room was zero to none. To be fair the level was titled hard mode. And I don't like hard things. Unless it's my pe... er... anyway... I just full rage quit this level. Thankfully Day in the limelight 3 Magnetman VS Ringman was not nearly as hard. This level utilized the magnet blaster or... whatever you call it. The difficulty was nowhere near as high. I mean it still did offer a nice challenge but it was actually a manageable challenge. Especially as the magnet blaster targeted right at enemies. Which was nice. It did get a bit tougher in the space section. But I blame that more on my own errors. Such as sliding when I wanted to jump. Oh yeah I forgot this is a Mega Man game. There's bosses at the end of the stages. It took me a while to figure out Ringman's pattern. His rings kept piercing me. But eventually I did get his pattern down and finally defeated him! Definitely a much better level that time. Metal Man modificated the forest of Wood Man was next... Modificated? Is that a word? Anyways, to me it looked just like Wood Man's stage. Of course I can't say for sure. I don't play the Mega Man games. Of course the big difference at the end being fighting Metal Man. At least I assume it was Metal Man. This dude was a shit load more tough than Ring Man. Thankfully the creator of this level gave me all the blasters. To which I gladly used to my advantage. The leaf shield being the most effective to me.

Level 1 Text MX was next. A test level eh? This sounds... fun? Well for a test level, it was challenging. Not impossible but it was no gimme. Oh yeah disappearing platforms too. Mega Man players be getting PTSD with those. This test level was so kind to give me a lot of energy plus an E-Tank before the boss which was fucking Metal Man again. Bro was a lot weaker though this time. Or that's what it felt like. Up next, The Lazer Chase. Relatively simple. Despite me dying my first go. Just beat out the lasers and win in 3 seconds. Nado VS Megaman 4 CRAAAAAZY was next. Crazy is right. No wonder this level had more dislikes. It was fucking enemy spam in one room. I am even shocked I beat that fucking level. But Kogama War 4 was... confusing. It was silent to all hell, there were blasters and shields I couldn't access except for one. At least the one I had was pretty powerful for killing the bosses. I guess I eventually somehow figured out there were 3 bosses I was supposed to defeat. Especially since each boss dropped a key and the goal orbs were gated by these blocks indicating THREE KEYS NEEDED. After I eventually figured that out, not before trying to take a swim several times, I beat the level. Did any level have a chance of being good now? Well not Battle In the Sky which essentially had a dev exit. Pitiful. Have I already hit rock bottom in this game? Maybe I already did. Choose your path Land Air Sea wasn't great. The sea had spikes with no warning about them and the air had gaps I couldn't get through. At least the level was beatable through the land section leading to a Cut Man boss fight.

So all in all, it was... a mix. But why should I be shocked? It's a fucking maker game.
