It wouldn't just let me have top 5

It's that time of the week again! Time for more Mario 35 continued interest! Since I had no more GDQ block to do, I was like... why not? Let's suffer once again!

The first match this week, a trip to the beach! Water and bridges galore! And a 1-1 which I EASILY demolish! Followed by 2-1 and 5-1. I am definitely getting familiar with these levels! I conquer 5-2 albeit with some roulette and I take down 4-2 and warp to 5-1! Now I just beat this level so it shouldn't have been hard to beat it again!... oh how fucking naive i was... to turn quite frankly the worlds easiest jump into a banana peel slip right into the motherfucking pit below me. I have... as far as I know... never fallen in that pit. I was embarrassed. Of course 2 more die like... not even 10 seconds after I do. So that makes it even more not better. Now it was just time to watch the real pros dominate this game for about 9 more minutes. Yeah that's the painful part. Having to actually wait until the match is done. Maybe if I could get off the lawn, I will do better... which is the next match. "Get off my lawn"! Grass and plants here! Once again I speed through 1-1 and 1-2. I decide to be a fucking psycho and warp to 1-4. Thankfully it's not that hard of a castle and I burn Bowser in the lava. I take down 2-1 and 4-2 and warp to 3-2. Next up is 6-2 with all of its plants. To which none of bit my ass as I made my way to 8-1! After painfully getting through that, I am back to 4-2 where I warp to 1-2! And then... back to 4-2! Okay we're just dancing here. Sadly the dance party was cut short as I actually ended up running of time. Despite me having a shit load of coins. I should've just run off and went for enemies on the stage instead of trying to get the warp. That was a horrible idea.

Maybe going fishing will lead me to victory clearly right? At least there's no fish in 1-1. Or 2-1. Or 1-3. Or 5-3... okay are we actually going to go fishing here? Definitely not in 8-1. Or 5-1. Though I am kindly provided some imitator fish and bloopers! Finally I land in 2-2. An actual level with fishies! How about that? Oh and lakitus are here too! Yay? At least it's easy to swim up and take them down. 2-3 has more fishies to take care of. I definitely spend time being careful there as 4-1 is next. So we have fish and lakitus. Oh this will be fun not. 4-3 is next... and... uh... for... some... dumbass reason... I decide to think that it would be smart that I can just jump through some bloopers and land on a high mushroom tree in that level. Needless to say... that wasn't the brightest idea. At least I missed my ticket to the lakitu party. So maybe it was worth it? Nature reclaims the land is up next. Kind of a recap of the last 3 rounds with water, plants, and trees! What could go wrong? Just to recap, I died very horrible deaths in the last 3 rounds. To also recap, I am so damn good at 1-1. I get out of 2-2 and with 2-1 as well. 6-2 is defeated and even 8-1... not... remember when I said I died horrible deaths in the past 3 rounds? Yeah well I died a horrible death here too. When a fucking 1 block gap pit kills me. For fucks sake I can't have ANYTHING nice with this game. It takes 9 minutes for this round to finish. Did I spend that 9 minutes strategizing the last round? NO OF COURSE NOT! Which is players choice BTW. Did people pick nice levels? No. The first level was 2-2. The so not perfect first level for a players choice round. Somehow I got out of it without taking damage. Same with 2-1 and I even got out of 6-4 and holy shit I made the top 5. HUZZAH! On to 3-2 which I take care of. But sadly my run ended in 4-1 with a spike snipe shot to the head.

But hey... at least I got points and I'm on the leaderboard! That's something right? After that, i was on to the junior championship which we JUST had enough players for. This one was an interesting one. I don't even think Zef, this weeks host knew what the queue was. It was some sort of trap card? The level queue was short as shit. It was 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 3-2, and 5-1. Apparently these 5 levels are supposed to make it so that the match lasts REALLY long. With how many enemies you can get in all 5 levels. Which is true. I was grinding these levels out for quite a damn good while. Hell I survived 10 minutes before I eventually died to a timeout. Which is very unfortunate. I was hoping some of the others would start to have low time but of course they found ways to cheat and have infinite time... also known as... grinding. See I just use shells to grind out enemies. But I guess the better way is to jump on them one at a time to really maximize your time. Somehow the match lasted 3 more minutes before it ended. I know that doesn't seem like a long time. But based on how fast that fucking timer was going, it was quite a while. And I ended up getting 3rd overall in the junior championship. Wow I did better than top 5? THROW ME MY FUCKING PARADE ALREADY!
