Kryptonite already got to him

I am back with Fortnite: Battle Royale to check out the Superman mythic ability where you... well... turn into Superman!

Heading into my first game, after the textures slowly turned from being Play-Doh, I quickly did the quest to travel distance without touching the ground after using the Wingshot Grappler. Smoked some nooby bots, and took down an Overlord Spire to get some damn nice loot. Also for some reason there was a fucking Rocket League ball on the map... just... randomly... yeah okay sure. Entering Demon's Domain, my wingshot just... disappeared out of my inventory. Out of the blue it was just gone. It had like 20 uses left and it just was like... "alright I'ma head out". Oh and for some reason I wasted time trying to jump with a bass boost and fall into rift at the same time. Doing that did absolutely nothing. But hey... worth the experiment! I eventually got the dub with 32 eliminations! Though the Superman call mythic never showed on the map. Maybe they decrease the amount it does show per match.

Into my 2nd match, the battle bus air balloon was a Rocket League ball. Okay yeah. I did my training in Supernova Academy to get my good rare chest loot. And took down another Overlord Spire. Can never have too much good loot. Unfortunately my car got stuck on a rock and of course it was unbreakable so I had to ditch the poor thing and continue on foot. I did find another car and went on to win the game. Still no Superman though. They must've really decreased the Superman spawn rate. Until I looked on Twitter and saw apparently the Superman call was disabled for some reason. Well that fucking sucks. Given the stream was supposed to be about the Superman mythic. Thankfully I actually did check this out on my NeedNoMoreMics channel. So what I did is that I pulled up a game I did on that channel and aired it on this stream. What was supposed to happen was during the game, you'd get a notification saying that the Call has appeared which is somewhere on the map. It's a giant Superman logo item and you simply walk into it. When you do, you transform into Superman. From there you are granted laser eyes and a super punch! Oh and you can fly too! When you get an elimination, your energy refills. So in theory, you can keep the power through the entire game. Though I imagine in a real game, that would be easier said than done as everyone would be shooting you.

At the end, I got the dub with Superman. Although I couldn't seem to emote with him after I won. Which sucked. Maybe that's why the call ability was removed. You can't emote with him.
