Never doubt Toad.

Well after the absolute failure I had playing PocketBike Racer, I figured I'd go for something... lighter and easier. That is where Mario Kart: Super Circuit comes in to play for the Summer Games Done Quick 2025 block!

I start with 50CC and just like many other Mario Kart games, I go with Toad because he is lightweight and very fast. I start with the Mushroom Cup and begin my Super Circuit journey there! First track, Peach Circuit. A nice stroll outside the castle of Princess Peach! After familiarizing myself with the controls. I find myself getting back in 1st place. Well of course! It's 50CC after all! And I finish the race in 1st! Shy Guy Beach is next. What makes it Shy Guy Beach? Big Shy Guy's on ships in the background of course! Nice and bright, nice and sunny, nice and a first place finish! Riverside Park is up next! A more foresty kind of track. I do make a very crucial mistake here as I try to jump on a boost pad... which... I mean I thought I was supposed to do that... but you're not. Doing that put me back in 7th place. Yikes. Turns out you're supposed to just drive over the boost jump. Now I know! 3 red shells later and I am back in 1st! I had the shells by the way. And I still finish 1st despite the mistake! Last track of the cup is Bowser Castle 1! Oh no... Bowser... so spoopy. Not even Bowser can win in his own domain. That goes to me! While I finish 1st in the cup, I only get a B rank. I think the rank is also determined by how many coins you got while racing. To which I got 73 total. And I guess that's not good. But I still got the gold! Next up, Flower Cup and Mario Circuit! Very... very green. I guess green means Mario. I told you Green Mario was real! Green means go, and I go in first place! Boo Lake the next track and first spoopy track. Not really. Those Boo's didn't scare me. Despite falling off the track, 1st place was still granted to me! Cheese Land... was very cheesy. And now I crave cheesy pizza. Dammit. It looked so damn good. But I had a race to focus on. And thankfully I still got 1st. Could Bowser win in his 2nd territory? No. Despite me getting burned a few times, I still got the 1st place finish! And even finished with a star rank! I got a lot of coins this time!

On to the lightning cup. Luigi Circuit is looking quite rainy. Well it is the lightning cup. And I guess Luigi's Circuit takes place outside some sort of laboratory? Yeah okay sure. There are small puddles on the road that slip me up. But even they can't stop me from finishing 1st. Going above the lightning now in Sky Garden! Even way up high, I can breathe just fine and get 1st place. Man I am on a ROLL here! Cheep-Cheep Island is next! And it makes sense that those cheepies are floating in the water! I... can't... despite me trying. Mario wants to hit me with a shell? Well I just return the fucking favor. And I finish 1st once again! Because nobody cheats in this fucking game. Sunset Wilds is last up. Oh yeah we're in the country now baby. YEE-HAW! I admit, the sand and dirt this time gives quite more friction than before. But I still gallop to a 1st place finish! I do get a B rank again here. But... I'm content with winning the cup! I am cruising right through this as I get to the Star Cup! Starting with Snow Land. This one is quite the cold one alright. And yes, ice is slippery. But hey, I still slip away to a 1st place finish! Ribbon Road is next. Or as I like to call it... Christmas Road! I mean you can't tell me the track doesn't look festive. I've been such a good boy that Santa gave me a 1st place finish! Yoshi Desert is up next! You can tell it belongs to Yoshi because of the huge Yoshi Sphynx! However on this track, if you get to the rough sand you are in deep trouble because I put big shame on my family and finished 2nd... OH THE HUMANITY! Thankfully I could redeem myself on Bowser Castle 3... or... so I thought. I was in 1st place for so long... but little idiot me tried releasing my red shell behind me thinking that would knock out Luigi... it didn't... and then I choked... and then I finished 2nd. That is what we call... ass. Thankfully I still did finish 1st in the cup overall. But with a C rank. C as in... Can't you SEE that is not very good?

On to the last cup already. The Special Cup. I have dominated all the other cups. It's time to dominate this one. Starting with Lakeside Park. It almost feels like a cross between an OG Super Mario Kart track and some volcanic island. It was a good start... until... I found myself in between the track... and a wall with a flat ramp on it. Not realizing I could jump over the wall, I found myself... in dead fucking last... and I couldn't go back go the other side of the wall. Hell I even jumped over the wall TWICE. I was so fucking far behind, I actually had to restart. I do not like how this track was made. Given that the wall with the ramp was way too close after a turn on the track. Being much more careful this time, I was in a steady 1st place... until I jumped over the damn wall AGAIN and fell suddenly to 4th place. I mean I finished the track but I wasn't happy with a 4th place finish. Perhaps I could bounce back in Broken Pier. Another ghostly level. Oh yeah, Yoshi's a bitch too. He rudely pushed me off the edge of the level. I will get my revenge for that oh don't you worry. Despite nearly falling off at he end, I got a 1st place finish. That's more like it. And I told you I'd get my revenge! In Bowser Castle 4, for some... UNKNOWN reason my dumbass thought that after I finished lap 2, I was done... and I was about to start insulting Yoshi... but I realized that... oh fuck... the race is still going. I had no fucking clue how to reverse, I was panicking, like... oh fuck me. But even with that mental fuckery, I still finished in 1st place! But I was still in 2nd in the cup overall. 2 points behind Yoshi. Would I come out on top? It would depend on the final track. Rainbow Road! Probably... the shittiest looking Rainbow Road. Oh yeah... I also fell off... WAY TOO MANY TIMES. Despite me nearly making a comeback and even getting out in front, I just... had too many errors and finished 5th in the race. It was so bad, I was forced to restart. My next go at it, I was more careful this time... but I may have been... too careful. I finished 3rd... but Yoshi finished 1st...

Fuck now I'm starting to think Yoshi is cheating. Did he learn from the fucking king?
