I've been on the leaderboard for the Super Mario Bros. 35 Continued Interest tournaments 3 weeks in a row now? Could I make it 4 in a row? Nothing is impossible... but little would I know... that I would have my worst ever round of Mario 35 Continued Interest.

The first match of the week was Classic RTA. Of course it starts with 1-1. Because it's a classic RTA. As per usual 1-1 and 1-2 are yawn city. When I took the warp zone, I wanted to get 2-2 out of the way. So that is where I warped to! A little painful to get through but I did it! I bid farewell to my fishies in 2-3 and burn Bowser down in 2-4. On to 3-1. I kick a shell away so I can focus on letting a Twitch stream unbuffer. Simply for me to not realize the shell was going to come back. And by the time I realized it, I was already dead. I finished 10th of 11. Alright not a good start. Hopefully the next match will be better. The RTAndomizer has been hit or miss. Sometimes it just absolutely fucks me over. Sometimes it works out. In this case... it absolutely fucked me over. The first level was 7-1. A bullet bill heavy level. Did I make it past this level? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I finished 11th of 11 here. Dead last. Yep. I'm so not already getting pissed off. After that, the rest of the match lasted less than 5 minutes. This was truly an evil RTAndomizer. You know what was not evil? Player's Choice. Which thankfully started with 1-2 this time. A much... MUCH easier level. I burn down the fish in 7-1 and head on to 3-2. I kick the shell away and jump over it once it bounces back. No I didn't. That's a lie. Apparently I severely short hopped it and died. Once again I finished dead last place. I know I have 2 matches left but I am seriously not having it. I need to get my head out of my fucking ass and play better. Next up is 7-3. Another single level queue. I get to ride with the jumping fishies over... and over... and over... and over again! Or... 2 times... because on my 3rd go, I died to a fucking koopa eye. Okay... this is getting ridiculous. What's next? Am I going to fucking just slide off a tree in 5-3 in the 2nd RTAndomizer and finish 10th place? Well yes actually... I did. Just fucking wow. I really was mega ass this week. That's utterly depressing. So to answer your question. No. I could not go 4 straight leaderboard appearances. Disappointing. But hey... we still got the Junior Championship! This is where I really show up. Hah lol no that's a lie. I don't make it past the first level and I die to a flying koopa in 5-3 at the stairs.
