To the fridges!

I am back with my eggy convenience store as I continue where I left off last time with reorganizing the place to make it feel more satisfying. And this week I continued that quest.

Of course not before realizing some of my wooden floor tiles somehow got reverted back to the checkerboard tiles. I don't know how the fuck that happened. Maybe all these mods are corrupting my save file. Once I got that fixed, it was just a matter of deciding what goes where now. I figured the condiments would go well with the bread. I mean you put ketchup on bread right? I also moved the chips to the now snack and sweets aisle. Candy, Chips, Cereal... yeah those go together. Honey and Peanut Butter also fall in the same category with the bread. I had some miscellaneous things I had trouble figuring out where they would go. I figured for now that the whole and mashed potatoes go with the pasta and rice. I mean you can cook all of them in water. So maybe I'll call it the "heat with water" aisle or something I don't know. I decided to put all the alcohol in the back. What you think a child wants to see a display of beer the second they walk in the doors? Didn't think so. I had no idea where to put the pet food. So I was like... fuck it I'll just put it in a new aisle for now. That'll work. Maybe someday the dev will add more pet food to the game. Unless there is and I have to unlock it. Once I was satisfied with that, I moved on to the fridge units. Yeah those needed to be organized too. Very organized holy shit everything was just thrown around here. You know me, I start with my eggs! That's what the whole store is about after all! I figured a full column of small packs and then the medium and large packs sharing the 2nd. What's next? Uh... water! Yes! Water! Sure I got like... 2 brands. But people buy water right? I think I'll dedicate an area to dairy products. Milk, cheese, and yogurt! For some reason I had to check to make sure eggs weren't dairy, spoiler alert, they weren't. I never actually realized just how many kinds of cheeses I was selling. Oh and clotted cream too. That exists. Oh and butter.

Soda be next. And I have a shit load of soda. Dev really went all out on the kinds of soda. Which makes sense. There's a shit load of real soda brands. Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Starry, 7-up, Faygo, Crush, Fanta, etc. There's a lot. I actually decided to put the cold alcoholic drinks in the back with the warm ones. Made sense. Fish exists too. I figured I could put the sushi and fish products in the same fridge. Tuna is fish too right? Speaking of meat, how about chicken and ground beef too? And I'm sorry can I vent something? Why exactly are we putting meat in a fridge? Shouldn't it go in a freezer container? I don't know it just feels like it would... defrost a little and get soft and get spoiled. But that's just me. And you didn't ask for my opinion so we move the fuck on. There are some pre-packaged meals. I just call them lunch meats or just... lunches in general. Something quick and easy you plop in the microwave, heat it up, and enjoy. I take care of the apple and orange juices in their own fridge. Oh and the houmous. That gets its own fridge... because I have no fucking clue where else it would go.

Shit is looking much better now. But seriously... I need some damn customers again.
