I am back to the No Gold Challenge in Wii Party. Where I have to conquer advanced difficulty without getting 1st in any minigame. I really wanted to actually beat it. After getting close last time.

My first go was... bumpy... literally. Getting bumped back on the map. Getting 3rd and 4th places. But even then, I stayed pretty close. But sadly that run came to an end on the Barrel Daredevil minigame. With the falling... barrels. With it being advanced difficulty, I thought the Miis would be closer. I was wrong. They stopped their barrels very early. And of course I stopped mine last. So I had to restart. Guess what my first minigame of my 2nd run was? Barrel Daredevil! It's like a sign! Got 4th on it this time. But hey... it's not first!

I took a heavy lead this time on my 2nd go. Had a lot of things go my way successfully on the board this time. It's almost like the board apologized for the last run. Then came... Smile Snap. This was the minigame that killed my first run. Not of this stream. But of my first No Gold stream. This go around, I closed my eyes and hoped for the best. Which is what I did last time. I shouldn't have done that. Despite me getting only 4 smiles, everyone else got 3. So I got 1st place. And that means... RESTART!

My 3rd run of the stream lasted like... 3 seconds. In Feathered Frenzy, I tied for first place. And of all times I don't want to, I win the roll off. Getting me first place. So... restart! I think I ended up playing... too carefully this next round. Nothing was worth a risk. Especially in games where placement wasn't easily controllable. I made it about 24 spaces to the end. And I played Pearl Plunder. Mind you not... I picked this minigame since I was in last place on the board. And in this minigame... I made... a horrible mistake. The first place Mii had 7 pearls. I had 6. And... for some... fucking reason... I collected... 1 more pearl. I don't know why. So I was tied for first. I needed to lose the roll off. And... I didn't.

This challenge is agreeably challenging. But with the right minigames, I know I can succeed. And hey... I'll always be known as the log breaking champion!
