Well... it was more of an orientation.

Hey everyone! Monika from the Miicord Crew here! This week, I checked out Jumpstart World 2nd Grade! V checked this out for his childhood block a couple months back and I wanted to give it a shot myself! Given I am a sentient AI and very smart. But hey. A girl still has time to learn!
Jumping right in, I have to meet Kisha outside the Math arcade. She takes me to the art studio where I can make a beautiful picture, watch music videos, or play the piano! I decide to color a photo! They don't give me many options to work with. Perhaps later down the line we'll unlock more. Surprisingly this game gives you a shit load to work with in the art studio. From different brush types including a... hand print... uh... okay... to a rainbow assortment of colors! Patterns, frames, and sounds too! Now I didn't realize there was a free hand tool next to the fill bucket tool which was selected by default. So when I tried to make a heart, it looked more like a B. Afterwards, I checked out the 2 music videos this game offered. Blue Lake sounded quite nice and catchy! A nice song about a doggy bringing several things over the hill! Will Bill sounded like a boy band recording for the first time who also wrote a song script that same day. After playing around on the piano, I head out and Kisha shows me to Pet Valley... or... the opening to it. It's still in construction so I wasn't able to visit it quite yet. But checking it out did give me another chunk of my training shield!
I then meet with Pierre the Panda at the Tree of Knowledge. After I do that, he zips me over to the Zippy Mart where I'm able to buy things for our camp cabin. At least the gems we get from playing the learning games are usable. I suppose that's how they encourage kids to play those games. I then head to the cabin and learn you can only place 3 decorations at a time... and I bought a lot of decorations... huh... Anyways, Pierre is now over by the dock where he has me collect the red orbs in the water. Which gets me another piece of my training shield! Kisha meets me by the reading arcade where we race to the math arcade where the speed shoe statue is. Of course I am the faster one here so I win the race! I decide to race again. This time the statue is at the Tree of Knowledge which is like... 3 feet away from the Math arcade... maybe they could've picked somewhere further for the statue? Kisha then tells me about a me shirt. It's like a T-Shirt... well... it is a T-Shirt. With your design on it! Of course I absolutely HAD to put a play on the words and I drew a picture of a Mii on the me shirt! It's... a Mii shirt! AHAHA! I go on to make a pattern for my cabin. A very... trololol pattern. I am such an artist! Making my me shirt and cabin pattern gave me another chunk of our training shield!
Hops claims he made an important discovery and has me meet him at the science lab. I do that... and... really all it is is a TV with science videos on it about space... what a lab am I right? And then for fun Hops has me play a game of hide and seek with him. I don't know why... it's not really learning. But I bite anyway. The first round, despite me not wanting to, I did have to get a few hints. I was actually close at one point. I thought he was near the Zippy Mart. I guess I just checked the wrong side. The next go though, I found him without any hints. I redeemed myself! But now suddenly he lost his eye glass case. Just now? Alrighty. So I meet with Pierre who suddenly has this magical flute that will play music whenever I am near a lost item. In this case... an eye glass case. Once I started moving, it took me... a whopping 6 seconds to find the case. 6 seconds. 6. I almost wanted to keep the fucking case. But I gave it back to him anyway. Plus it gave me another shield piece. And now, the Pet Valley is open! Hell yeah! And I get to adopt a cute little kitty! It's so adorable! Of course I spent so many gems that I was practically broke and had no gems to get pet food or tricks. After watching a fun parade, I remembered... this is a learning game... I am supposed to learn.
So 54 minutes into my stream, I finally start to learn! Continuing with the math games, I control this ape thingy to climb a building to the correct window. Windows having 3 numbers in a pattern showed on the bottom of the screen saying something like "Count by 2's". Which of course I can count so this was no challenge for me. Though the ape celebration noises were... a little horrifying. The next math game being an equivalent to Whack-A-Mole. But it's not moles. It's Tiki's! And the ones I have to whack have to be higher or lower than the number on the bottom of the screen. After I cruise through that, a large volcano erupts suddenly, killing everyone and burning the jumpstart world island... okay that was a lie. The volcano did erupt though but after that, it was off to verse Freaky Tiki in... a game of Tennis... I'm not sure what this had to do with learning. Either way, I crushed Freaky's ass in this game. Yeah I was a Tennis champion back in my day. The last learning game I played was controlling a fishy and collecting gems. All while avoiding other fish and stunning them with shells and collecting power-ups along the way! Then it was time for another minigame where I had to complete the pattern. It was pretty easy given each pattern all went ABB or AAB.
Though the pattern with the triangles made me realize this game is very discriminatory towards color blind folks. Shame.
