ANNNNND THE LIONS ARE KNOCKED OUT OF THE FUCKING PLAYOFFS! What a complete and utter fucking joke. Mind you this is the same Max Brosmer that got shut the fuck out by Seattle just a few weeks prior. In a must win situation for Detroit, it's like they didn't even fucking try I mean my goodness. This Lions team looked beyond disoriented from the very fucking start... this is going to be painful to talk about.

Minnesota gets the ball first and it seemed like it was quickly going to become a very ugly game for the Vikings as in no time flat they go 3 and out. So with Detroit getting the ball now. Very quickly their offense gets moving... for like... 1 play. St. Brown with an 11 yard catch and that's about it really. The drive could've... COULD'VE kept moving on but I don't know what the fuck the damn refs were looking at to call a fucking false start on Detroit when it looked like not a fucking soul for the Lions moved. Wow this whole year really is just Detroit VS The refs ain't it? Minnesota would get moving a little further on their next drive. Starting to get dangerously deep into Detroit territory. All the way down to the 32. However they do get backed up with a pass to Aaron Jones for a loss of 4. And then Hutch doing what Hutch do and SMASHING Brosmer to the ground for a fucking 15 yard loss! Knocking Minnesota out of Detroit territory, forcing them to punt! We might have long field but now let's get a drive going... not... Yep in like 5 fucking seconds, Goff coughs the ball up and it's picked up by Minnesota at the Lions 16 I am truly going to Hell. And yeah Minnesota scores a touchdown... 7-0 Vikings... I'm going to need a lot of spiked eggnog. 2nd quarter time, Gibbs fumbles and it's recovered by Minnesota you have to be absolutely shitting me! Thankfully though after 2 False Start calls and Hutch pinning Brosmer to the ground for a loss of 7, Minnesota punts. CAN WE GET A DAMN DRIVE GOING? Not if Goff is sacked for a loss of 6 and then his next pass is incomplete... okay so 3rd and 16 instan-fucking-taneously... I mean shit at this point we're going to get shutout!... until Goff throws a 28 yard bullet to TeSlaa... wait he can do that? The Lions end up getting a couple more big plays in this drive like a 13 yard reception to St. Brown on 3rd and 9 and how about St. Brown again with a 23 yard bomb to the Vikings 12? Wait do I hear a score? Well consider the odds low with fucking Penei Sewell getting hurt... we truly are cursed with injuries. And now it's 4th and 1 at the 3 and holy fucking shit Monty just BARELY converts. Even after Minnesota challenged, the refs determined that there wasn't enough evidence to give Minnesota the ball... wait a ref call in Detroit's favor? IN THIS ECONOMY?

But now very quickly it's 4th and Goal. Cool... I love my heartrate spiking up like shit. I can almost just feel this drive ending in nothing... I mean it doesn't but it sure felt like it. TeSlaa gets the catch for the touchdown and now my heart can relax! Minnesota doesn't quite go 3 and out... but they basically do after Muhammad sacks Brosmer for a loss of 10 and despite a catch to Jones, it's not enough for a 1st down and they punt the ball away. Detroit can't do shit in the final seconds of the half so they send it to halftime... but a 7-7 tie at half is uh... VERY CONCERNING! Going into the 2nd half, Detroit doesn't do a damn thing. They almost convert a 4th and 1 but are called for a false start so they have to punt. Minnesota, having the oh so amazing offense that they do go 3 and out. Not like Detroit's offense is any better. Goff with pressure going up his ass just chucks the fucking ball... also known as... A BAD FUCKING IDEA BECAUSE THE BALL IS PICKED WAHOOOOOO!!!... i am going to punch... a fucking wall. Brosmer takes back to back sacks, forcing Minnesota to bring the field goal team out and the 52 yarder is sadly good. But I guess giving up 3 is better than giving up 6. So Detroit gets the ball back-Minnesota gets the ball back... yeah you see how quick that was? The first fucking throw from Goff on this drive is picked off... did I say I was punching a wall? I meant 10 walls. Once again Detroit holds Minnesota to a field goal but my confidence in this Lions offense is just absolutely dead. It's now flat-lined. A THIRD STRAIGHT DRIVE ENDING IN A TURNOVER OH MY FUCK! This time Goff fumbles the ball and it's picked up by Minnesota... I think our o-line has given the fuck up. Detroit can't recover a Brosmer fumble to save their lives but still forces Minnesota to punt. And then Detroit punts. And then Minnesota punts. Hey look Detroit's actually moving the damn ball!... not for long but at least they're in field goal range and Bates nails a 48 yarder. 3 point game! Well given our defense we can probably stop-NOPE! SIXTY-FIVE YARD TOUCHDOWN RUN FOR JORDAN ADDISON I AM NOW GOING TO BLOW UP THE ENTIRE FUCKING PLANET! Oh yeah... welcome back to the FUCKING TURNOVER SHOW for Detroit. Goff fumbles the fucking ball FOR THE 50TH TIME AND IT'S PICKED UP BY FUCKING MINNESOTA!

Yeah with 3 minutes left... now suddenly down 10... this game is all but over... make it down by 13 why don't you with another field goal for Minnesota. Did I say this team had playoff dreams? You can flush them down the fucking toilet. I don't know what the fuck Detroit was doing at the end of the game but it didn't matter. Detroit lost. Again. And now they are knocked out of the playoffs. Not like they even deserved to get in anyway. They had shot after shot to make it in and they were like nahhh we don't feel like it. Just a piss poor season for the Lions after 2 really good years. I really hope this isn't already the end of their good run. And for all we know it might not be... or maybe we will really be saying that NFC Championship against San Fran a couple years ago really was our only chance. A chance we pissed away because Dan Campbell got greedy a gazillion times on 4th fucking down when he could've taken the damn points.

My bet is that it will definitely be the latter.
