So what if Madden 27 comes out in a couple months? Madden 26 is still the hot NFL game and that's what Mr. Wheel has given to me on this edition of the Winter Jackpot!

I figured because this was more so a showcase that I would play a game in which I would for sure be able to win. So I did was was necessary... I played the Arizona Cardinals. After adjusting my settings accordingly, it was time to play!... or look at a fucking loading screen for 10 hours. No seriously I think the game forgot it was supposed to uh... you know... let me play. Thankfully a restart fixed it. Kicking off so the Cardinals get the ball first. Just as per my Madden luck the Cardinals do get a drive going... and then I pick off Murray with Anzalone. Sorry Murray. Remember, you're playing for the Cardinals. XD! Unfortunately I can't do much after and I go 3 and out. Well that excitement lasted about 2 seconds. Arizona goes far but not far enough and has to punt. I do get a good pass game going here on my next drive. And on 3rd and Goal at the one... yeah you know what I do. I did it in Madden 25, of course I let Goff take it in himself! Quick 7-0 lead! And then Elijah Higgins gets a 52 yard reception to the Lions 20. Of course. Thankfully after that, I am able to hold Arizona to 3. Still lead by 4! Unfortunately for me and my next drive, fumbling the ball puts us 3rd and 20 at our own 10... and then sacked at our own 2 fucking yard line. I am stunned it wasn't a safety. But then it was when my punt was blocked. But honestly I was okay with that? Giving up a safety was still better than giving up a touchdown. Plus then I got the free kick. Can't stop the Cardinals on 1st and 20. Of course. And I really can't get a stop/ But thankfully, despite Murray scrambling, I still take him down to put the Cardinals at 4th down late in the drive. A field goal for them though does give them the lead. How does my drive go? 2nd and 9, own 27, pass picked off, Cardinals touchdown in 34 seconds, I trail, I'm dying inside. Can I convert on 4th and 8 from the 50? No of course not why the fuck did I think I could? But I do make Arizona go 3 and out so... I definitely took that. Sucks my drive starts at our own 3. And ends at my own 4. Good use of time. So now with my luck I have to somehow find a way to stop Arizona-I pick off Murray on his first throw of the drive okay I'll take it. And yes this time it does turn into a touchdown. I didn't even need to use any of my timeouts!

And as if the stars were aligning, my 2 point was good? Huh... so we go to half tied at 15 plus receiving the 2nd half kickoff? And somehow I even fucking figure out my run game too! Holy shit I think the stars ARE aligning! And a 10 yard rushing touchdown for Gibbs!... okay and then yeah I get greedy and want another 2 point conversion. That was a bit of a more silly choice. But still up by 6. For like 3 minutes before Arizona just BARELY scores a responding touchdown. And now I am down 1. Can I respond? No. I don't convert a 4th and 6 from our own 30. At least thanks to an offensive holding call, I am able to hold Arizona to a field goal. So only a 4 point deficit. We're all okay-I'm not okay I don't convert a 4th and 3 from our own 30... but Arizona is called for pass interference... and then I don't convert a 4th and 8 from our own 39... and then it's an Arizona touchdown... and then I am trailing 11... oh boy. You don't seriously tell me I LOSE here do you? A Goff sneak does let me convert a 4th and 1 to keep the drive going. And later on I do convert a 4th and 6. Oh the blood is pumping now. And less than a couple minutes into the 4th, it's D-Mo and a touchdown. But I can't get the 2 point. I say fuck it and go for an onside even though I didn't necessarily need to. It failed. All I can do is hold Arizona to 3. Which was honestly the 2nd best case. Would need a touchdown either way even if I fully stopped them. Though now I need a 2 point conversion. And in just about 2 and a half minutes? I just let Goff casually jog in the end zone for the touchdown. So that was step 1. Step 2, the 2 point. And our boy St. Brown uses both his hands to catch that ball and can you believe it we are fucking TIED! Coming back from being down 11! But now a crucial fucking stop. Which I almost thought I wasn't going to get. But then a very big sack on Murray and then a screen pass that loses more yards would force Arizona to punt. I have 1 minute and 55 seconds, 3 timeouts, and a dream to get maybe about 50 yards. My field goal would finally be setup from the Cardinals 37 with 5 seconds left in the game. To no shocker, Arizona ices me. Is a frozen power bar and a different camera angle gonna scare me? HAH! Nope! Beautiful fucking kick!

Granted of course there was ONE second left after the kick. So Arizona would have a chance to do... something... or nothing. No laterals or nothing. And I end up grabbing a 38-35 VICTORY! Closer than it needed to be? Uh yeah. But boy was it fun! What an exciting game it was! And that will probably be my only time playing this game as I'll probably be picking up Madden 27 when that comes out in like 2 months. XD!
