Cuteness attack!

Believe me... I think I struck the biggest gold out of any of us on The Winter Jackpot as Mr. Wheel had the hearts this time to give me Stray! And a cute little kitty makes my heart grow three times its size! Except I don't need to be a mad little Grinch! XD!
When I get going into the game, it does what every game loves to do. Brightness calibration. My favorite! So I do what it says as I make the left cat completely invisible and the center cat just barely visible. Our story begins on quite a rainy day. A thunder rainy day. But no worries. A group of cute little cats have already found a safe shelter to keep themselves dry. Ahhhh I'm having a cuteness attack already! One by one I get to walk up to my fellow cats and play around with them. Oh my gosh I think I am already a puddle right now! Eventually I join my little cute balls of fur in a group sleep until the weather clears up. From then we can venture out into the open world! The mossy greens definitely add some nice color to the area we walk around in. As I venture out, I learn how to jump, run, hell even scratch things too! You're not a true cat if you don't get to scratch shit! Oh and drink too. So what if the water is dirty? Cats got to stay hydrated! And... also learn not how to have a fear of heights. No seriously the cats just freeze once they get on this large pipe and don't move for a good while. Maybe they're just making sure it doesn't collapse. Which thankfully... it doesn't. We don't want cats falling into the abyss now. I continue my adventure with my friends here until I learn how to chain jumps. It's as simple as just holding down the jump button as our little fluffy guy jumps across several pipes with ease! After walking across some raised bars, we come across more pipes. Well my friends made it across just fine so it should be easy for me too right? Right? I mean it looks sturdy enough to jump and... oh shit... the pipe broke... poor guy does everything he can to hold on for dear life. But eventually our little guy loses the battle and falls... into the abyss. Damn. Just when the adventure was getting fun. Shit man. At least he's okay but he is seriously limpy until he just kind of... passes out. Cue a cutscene where suddenly a massive door in this tunnel like area seems to open up... is that just automated or did someone do that? Thankfully seems like our guys leg is okay now as I venture into... the dead city... and holy shit dead is right. This place looks depressing as hell. It looks run down and very abandoned. But it sure as hell is a good place for a kitty to jump around in!
This place is filled with trash, security cameras, and these dead robot looking things. On first glance I thought maybe it was a person. But a closer look shows that it was mechanical. Venturing onward through the city, it seems like... someone was expecting me? I mean hell there's literally a light up sign with only specific letters lit spelling HELP with arrows pointing to the right... maybe that door opening in the tunnel wasn't just automated. And perhaps it definitely wasn't when I come across some old screens that literally say FOLLOW ME. Looks like something or someone is guiding me. I then come across one of many areas that... slightly stump me not also not really. To get past one of these areas, I have to somehow get past these very fast moving blades. I definitely don't even want to try risking it. I recall being able to pick something up as I am able to take it with me as I jump across the pipes... assuming I can jump across them correctly and not just go back and forth between pipe and ground. But eventually I do make it to the top with my bucket and I am able to put a pause on the blades. I find myself in a small looking home where a convenient water bowl was placed down for me so I can hydrate! Once filled up on water, I continue onwards! I ride down a fun bucket ride and just keep following the arrows. I thought I met who I was supposed to meet. It was another one of those computer human looking dudes. However not very long after, it unfortunately faces shut down. Perhaps its battery was dying or its internals were just short circuiting. Either way, not who I was supposed to meet. As I follow the arrows, I am faced with... these very... (ahem)... "friendly" little creatures. Maybe about... 10 million of them? Give or take? And by friendly... I mean not so friendly. Those glowing eyes only mean they want one thing... my damn blood. Well I got to do what cats to best... fucking run like the damn wind. My run isn't perfect. But I do eventually lose them as I am able to casually keep on my journey to find this mysterious individual who keeps leaving all these arrows for me. The deeper I dive into the city, the more I learn about what I can do as this cute little kitty!
I learn how to both knock down planks of wood and ride inside open tubes to help me continue my pathway. These arrows keep guiding me as I run and jump my way through this very sad and gloomy looking city. Looks like it really hadn't been taken care of in quite some time. Finally I make it into this run down... dirty little room. But it has another one of those spinning blades I need to deactivate. This time it's as easy as flipping a switch as I make it to The Flat. Seems like I am getting closer. There's a huge console screen in front of me which I can... kind of interact with? I guess you know how cats are with keyboards. Them and their beautiful ability to type "ekgei9gyerivdi9yrtkihogrw" and other beautiful poetry like that! After giving the terminal enough invaild commands, a door opens leading me to... probably the most challenging room I've faced all night. It sure looks quite scientific with the many screens that surround me. Looks like there's 4 things I need to plug in... to also get out of this room because suddenly the door has closed and so I am stuck in here. There's a terminal system I can move to then jump on top of it and grab the first of 4 plugs. The 2nd plug is on the very bottom of the terminal system. I unplug that and plug it into the wall. The third plug is on the very top of this bookshelf being directly looked at by a few security cameras. The last one took an embarrassingly long time for me to find. I should've known it was simply on the center table. I swear I was looking everywhere but there. But once I get the last plug in, a shelf moves to the side to reveal a secret passageway. And boy does it look disturbing as hell. Many computer monitors just sit there... staring at me. There's another one of those dead computer human being thingies. Leaning on... I don't know some hard plastic faceless ghost thingy? With blood that had dripped down it and since dried up? Ew. Disturbing and very creepy and very unsettling. There's a sticky note placed on Mr. Ghost. I can't really read what it said though. It almost looked like it said "Haunt Zool" or something. But that's just very first interpretations. It's another "L is real" situation. For a while I don't exactly know what I am doing here... until I pick up... something and take it with me.
Suddenly several screens are pointing to this... device that looks like a fucking upside down table. Looks like whatever I grabbed is supposed to go there as suddenly the device comes to life. A small B/12 device that is able to float around. Our cat friend here doesn't seem very aggressive towards the B/12. More so curious about it as it bats it around. Seems like our B/12 friend here is quite passive. While it's running and functioning, seems like it can't remember much of anything. Including its own name. But it does know that it worked for a scientist who had worked in this here building. After we get a key, B/12 gives me a suit that wraps around me. At first though it's very heavy and our little furry guy here doesn't do well with the weight. But it does seem to very quickly get used to it. Our path to the exit door is straightforward. The way out the exit door is not. It needs a 4 digit code. That of which I do not have. I did recall that sticky note I saw and thought maybe instead of it saying "Zool" it said 2001 which was the 4 digit code. Only issue here is that this keypad doesn't have a 0. There was a bunch of 4 digit numbers plastered on the wall. I tried the ones that were possible to be entered in. But to no success. So I do some exploring. Making sure to use my very handy-dandy torchlight I was given. Very conveniently for me, the code is written right in plain sight for me. Whoever wrote that is my damn hero! So now I can leave and ride down another bucket on a line! This takes us to a painting of what looks like a nice, calming beach. This actually sparks something in our B/12 friend. Seems like at one point they too experienced a nice outside world. Sounds like it wanted to take someone to a nice, peaceful outside world. But couldn't remember who. B/12 mentions a postcard on the wall which the mural was based off of. The mural unlocks a core memory of B/12. As I ride down another bucket line... and also avoid some more of those not friendly glow eye bug thingies, I come across another one of those computer human hybrids. This one seems to be in fully functioning order as it cleans up the streets. However, the moment I approach it, it sets off an alarm and runs off. I mean technically it never attacked me so it could be passive for all I know.
As I run through these narrow alleys, a lot of these compumans hide away. Oh come on they're scared of a tiny little cute cat? How pitiful. Except one... a hybrid named... "L:DF%OF*"... oh... sorry... "Guardian". For a moment I had no idea what the hell dude was saying. But it very bravely welcomes to the village... as long as I don't eat anyone. Don't think I'll be doing that any time soon. I'm a tiny little house cat. Not a big, ferocious lion. With that, the computmen slowly come out of hiding as they soon realizing that I am not going to hurt them. Before I go, I give the Guardian the picture of the outside. But quickly crushes my dreams and says that leaving this abandoned city is next to impossible. My only hope is to talk to this Momo dude. So I guess that's who we'll visit next time this game is played... whoever plays it next. Whether it's V or one of us. Either way... one thing for sure...
Whoever plays this next is going to be melting for a very long time.
