We're getting a little rebellious! Rebel Inc: Escalation is the name of the new game I play next. Made by the people who made games such as... Plague Inc! How would this compare? Well a lot and also not at all.

Because I am such a noob, yes I do go through the tutorials. I mean it really does look like one of those civilization simulator games or whatever you call them. I played a lot of those during the NES-A-Thon. I didn't like them. XD! For the most part the game does feel like Plague Inc. At least with the core mechanics. Like selecting a starting area and using money to pay for perks. Except these ones help you. You can help your civilians, government, and military. I mean it is a game about war after all. There's also things like reputation and stability. Depending on my stability depends on my supporters. I also have to pay attention to my corruption and inflation. Insurgents will look to invade several areas and I have to use my soldiers to combat them and stop them. Seems easy enough. I mean the tutorial clearly shows how tough the game is going to be. Alright now it's time to get going. I give my operation a very... operatey name and prepare for battle! I select a base region and get to work. I know just like Plague Inc, I have to be careful with what I spend my money on. As nice as everything seems, I really need to split all my shit equally. Providing enough for not only my civilians but my government and military. During my sessions, I must... scope out other areas essentially. See what's up and prepare for any danger to come. I do admit it does take me probably a bit longer than it should've on my first run to deploy some soldiers. Hey those insurgents work fast and I'm here twiddling my fingers. I can move my soldiers around to follow the insurgents to keep the battle going. All while, there are events that happen and I have to choose how to respond. Like dealing with a flood. I can choose to do a little help, a lot of help, or no help at all. Even if it means making me and my land weaker. I'll be honest do I really know what I am doing? No... not really. But then again this is how I also play Plague Inc. I mean yeah I try to strategize but I feel like it's more clicking random shit and hope it works. Does it? Uh... not really? I'm trying to help my people but all the while my reputation is dying. And my corruption and inflation are... oh boy I really should've started on casual mode. And all while I am essentially killing innocent people. I don't think I should be commanding a war.

Oh and I guess soldiers can just be... done? I guess their battles are actually tours. I could keep them going but then I would lose reputation. I do end up getting a region stable enough to win its people! I got a little reputation back! Does it last long? About 4 and a half minutes before I am not reputable anymore. I guess I need more civilian initiatives. I mean I felt like I had a good bunch but maybe there were other ones I could've purchased as well. I feel like there is definitely more strategy involved in this game. But you know me... I hate strategizing. I just like clicking a bunch of shit until something goes. XD! I tried to focus more on civilian perks in my 2nd run. I mean hey the game said I needed to right? But then I didn't really have anything for government and military other than like a couple soldier dudes. Fuck how do I keep up a good reputation? Maybe I might have to dabble in casual mode next time. I don't think I have the slightest piss of an idea on what I am doing. XD! Then again I never have a piss of an idea of what I am doing in Plague Inc.

I think I just suck ass at strategy games.
