Here's a weird one. Broken Reality. Also known as... a drug trip that takes you back to the 80s internet. Remember the old days? Back when you had to wait 10 years for a page to load? And it was nothing but simple images and text? Ah those were the days... I wasn't alive back then. XD!

So I get in to check out the game and... already we have an issue. Every now and then sometimes the software I use to control my gaming computer with my laptop computer just... bugs out and causes the mouse to lag out so bad that it forces control from the keyboard and mouse back to the laptop. And believe me that definitely gets frustrating when that happens. I ended up spending about half an hour on troubleshooting. Eventually I did get something to work but holy piss it was a frustrating time just trying to get it to work. But... enough bitching around. I get to play now and enjoy this acid trip called a video game. Right off the bat I am in a trippy tunnel looking thing. It really does punch you in the face as soon as possible. I collect a thumbs up tool which will be my primary tool throughout the game. I'm also introduced to my adventure menu where I have access to stuff like a map, items, and quests. So i guess this little land we're in is called NATEM 2045. I meet this individual named OneeChan who welcomes me and says she has a newbie account made for me. How sweet? She explains that as I become more trendy, I can meet the admin. And I can become more trendy by collecting likes that will upgrade my account. So I get access into NATEM, which is a digital place for people to hang out... as explained by OneeChan. These people sure are full of conversation... also known as random ass comments. Around me are random images I can like which... I guess also gives me likes too! Like for like? Vending machines in the area are your way of saving your game here. To the left of that saving machine is an area I want to access... but I am blocked off by a totally not virus... dammit... I can however go to the further left. I collect some likes and meet this old dude named Chozai. Definitely has that Asian old man trainer sensei vibes. He sends me on a quest to collect back his pieces of his katana for him. When I do, I'll get the honor of following in his footsteps. So I am on my way and oh hey! This elder mad e a fortune with one simple trick learn more no thank you! XD! I find this Yin-Yang place that gives me the first Katana piece. My road seems to be cut off in this Asian kind of area with a locked door to a Dragon Road. I imagine that will open at some point.

After being told my computer is not good and to PLEES use anti Virus, I head on over to this very tranquil little pond area. I take a swim and collect this little bookmark device. At first I thought I could see my bookmarks on the map. But that didn't seem to be the case. Eventually I found out it's more like a one time teleportation device, I set down a bookmark and I can teleport to it once. And once I'm there, the bookmark is gone. Now I gotta get out of here. I find an ad which gives me stairs... but the thing is that the stairs aren't there long enough for me to get to them. That's when I remembered... oh shit that's right I have a bookmark device! So now I can leave and well there's another quick dead end. Another locked door to a luxury pool. Though there is another way I can go. Following the arrows brings me to a small triangular area which gives me another katana part. I find my way back to a lobby area where I meet back with OneeChan in the tech support area! She tells me I can find ADMIN in the office under the Luxury Pool... but I can't get into that yet... so therefore I can't meet with ADMIN yet. There is a mysterious tunnel to the right which uh... looks... nicely decorated? And totally not like it was eaten by corruption? I find a credit machine but I can't seem to do anything with it. At the end of the tunnel is a small lobby area where I get the final katana part. Exiting the tunnel and something gets my attention... I wish I kind of paid attention to the profile icon. But I didn't. And I never knew who was getting my attention... yet... now I have to find that old sensei dude. How do I get to him again? Ah I'm sure I'll figure it out. For now I'll swim down a river and meet up with RataPro. He seems nice. Down on the beach is Mameitor Apparently he need a shit load of likes. He offers me some tea in return for me taking a picture of him... but I don't have a camera. But I can find one in the shacks. And when I do, I am told how to use it. Camera tokens will be in the area. And I am to take pictures of them when I am in range to get likes. Otherwise the tokens will be black and white and grant me no likes. The beach huts are open so I try taking some pictures there. Several pictures I take in the beach grant me good chunks of likes.

I catch back up with Mameitor and take his picture as he gives me his tea. Just that alone gives me 50 some likes give or take! Funnily enough, one of the camera tokens next to this big waterfall... as close as I am to it is strangely black and white. Maybe I have to be on the very top of the fall to take that picture? Finally I meet back up with sensei Chozai as I am given the full katana. Not just an ordinary katana. This one lets me slash through those virus pop-ups that blocked my way! Nice! This literally opens up more options for me! I slash through the one simple trick pop-up. It doesn't take me anywhere new per se. But it is nice to know I have a clear path to go through! A lot of these pop-ups don't take me anywhere new. I need to find one that does open up a crucial new path. Like 4 pop-ups that take me to this little plaza kind of area. I slash down 4 pop-ups that take me to one of just many shops here. The sunglasses shop run by Darsha! I slash another big pop-up. But that seems to take me back to the very beginning area. There's this little seating area I can finally access with a shit load of likes inside because I now have the katana. And now it' s time to play everyone's favorite game called "Where the fuck do I go?"! I take some more pictures around me to collect likes. I find a hat shop. Again can't buy anything but I can look at them! I meet doge doggo Furrobotto who actually explains to me the history of NATEM. That it was once a small server created by 2 friends. And as NATEM slowly grew more and more, investors came along. But then that caused those original 2 friends to start having disagreements. One saying the fun was ending. The other saying the growth was organic. And that when NATEM expanded, users begin isolating in different sites with paywalls, restrictions, and monthly subscriptions. THE FUCKING HORRORS! And because of that, the 2 friends split. There whereabouts now are unknown. But their accounts still stand. Such a sad story. I slash a very crucial pop-up that takes me to a uPay store. This gives me a card I can use to finally purchase shit in the area. These cards can also be used with the credit machine which gives me a like per use. With limited uses of course.

I buy the couple watches and the diamond here. And now I'm already in debt! HUZZAH! I find another store which is more of a convenience store with snacks and drinks and shit. I get a brief glimpse at a combo system. But you know me, I don't fucking read. So I am standing there confused as fuck as to why despite all the items I am buying, there's no combo going. Eventually I figure it out and realize that when I buy an item, one appears at the top of the screen telling me what the next item I am supposed to buy is. Doing that increases my combo. Depending how good your combo is... and if you don't fuck up a purchase... will determine how many likes you get. I am still able to get master shopper rank here and get a shit load of likes... oh and sunblock too. After exploring around the plaza, and fearing for my fucking life that I just got softlocked, I find myself in the sunglasses shop. My combos there aren't as good simply because I get a little confused a couple times trying to match the pair I need to buy with the one up top my screen. I don't know how I do it but you remember that thing that was trying to catch my attention earlier? It was these big ass rock heads I have passed by several times but never realized I was supposed to interact with them. They ask for some sunblock, which I have. A shopkeepers cap, and sunglasses. I also have the sunglasses because I just bought 5 million pairs of them. I think I did recall seeing a shop that had caps, after scrambling around the plaza, I do find Furrobotto and... just... "borrow" his hat from him. After comboing the hats in the store, I eventually find those big stone heads... also known as M_W_A. And my gifts to them eventually lead them to open up the door to Dragon Road! I sure can't wait to see what lies there next time I play this.

Assuming I don't have big technical issues again next time.
