I can't fly them. But I can control them.

On a beautiful Moonnight, Mr. Wheel gives to me an interesting one. Fly Corp. Sometimes I don't even understand my own lore on why I get these games. XD!

So we're making airplane routes. FUN! XD! The tutorial shows us the basic ropes. How to control the map, create routes between locations, check routes, upgrading airports and airplanes, keeping track of capacities, buying planes, unlocking locations, etc. Alright. I now know how to play the game and it's time to discover the world!... or... discover Germany! That's where we seem to start by default. Clearly the tutorial makes this seem like an easy game right? I mean my first run seems to go pretty decently. We got some planes moving. Making some good moolah! Hell sometimes you can just randomly be given some extra money too! Sometimes I do have to be careful though. If certain airports get too busy? Yeah... trouble. Thankfully I am given notifications warning me when airports are near capacity. That way I can upgrade... uh... said capacity! If desperate times call, I can sell routes and planes to get some money back. Not all though no no no. That's why I have to be careful with the money I am making. And for nearly 8 minutes things are smooth. A few bumpy situations but all is good!... and then my Frankfurt airport filled up and I have to start over. Well damn. Alright well this run wasn't so bad. Sure the next one will do well... oh... I didn't unlock Luxembourg in time... yeah that's the thing you get like 6 minutes to unlock a new country and if you don't, it's game over. Now if you do unlock a new country early? The leftover time you had carries over. So say you had like 4 minutes left to unlock a country? You get the 6 minutes plus the 4 left over for a total of 10. And yet here I just used up all my time. Alright new run. And right off the bat my Stuttgart flights are cancelled because of weather. Seriously? What a little thunder never hurt anyone good grief. Yeah I didn't like how this run was going. I certainly wasn't going to unlock Poland in 90 seconds with 4 dollars. I think this game exposes my weakness. I fucking suck at strategy games. XD! I think a lot of this is more me just making random routes and hoping I get fucking lucky. Most of the time... I don't. My airports fill too much or I can't unlock countries. Maybe if I unlocked one right off the bat, I'd be in a better position! I wasn't. I got into debt because my ad campaign failed. Putting me to debt. RESTART!

So... yeah this game is a lot tougher than I imagined. I can't seem to get one good run going. I run low on money, my airports fill, I can't unlock countries. Like for fucks sake can these new airports open slower please? I think a lot of the luck comes from the events. Like ads and events and grants and shit giving me extra money. I think it was just about the 26:15 mark of my run where I finally started to get something going. The fireworks festival in Dusseldorf, bringing in twice the amount of passengers helps. I get paid over 400 dollars because... fucking pigeons were flying in Berlin, causing those flights to be cancelled. I guess they were rare so that makes sense. And a grant from the Germany government for just over 300. Which also opens 3 new airports. The money is starting to look... solid. Still low but it's rising. Still want to be careful with it for now. Especially if airports start to fill again. This is definitely one of my longer runs for sure. I focus spending time on upgrading airports, planes, and getting additional planes for certain routes too. A lot of it is still kind of random. I mean I do try to focus on the bigger cities. Like Munich and Berlin of Germany. I think some big fucking help came from when I was thanked for connecting Rostock to the transport network. Letting Germany give me over TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS! SHEEEEEESH! Well that huge upgrade in the bank will help a lot. Does help me add in more routes and upgrade more shit. Yeah this is definitely my best run here. Can it survive to the end of my stream? Annnd of course a fucking financial crisis makes me reduce ticket prices... wait shouldn't it increase prices? Do I not know how the fucking economy works? XD! Thankfully I still still making damn good money anyway. I was still even able to unlock France! Nice! Well I think that's a good place to end this run. I know things seem easy for now... but I already know the longer I go and the more countries I unlock... oh boy...

This game will very quickly become line drawing simulator.
