Okay so NOW I get to check out Crowbar Climber. Now that I got the VR headset back. I get to finally experience the world of climbing a wall with... fucking crow bars!

So you get into the game and... well really you're playing it right off the bat. I like to consider the opening level as the tutorial level. Granted it takes me a minute to get accustomed to the feel and I definitely do take some falls. Though thankfully the tutorial level did have checkpoints. Or at least... safe areas. Where like it you fell, you wouldn't go all the way back to the start. The level gets you familiar with basic bar climbing, slanted poles to ride down, swinging and rotating bars, oh and definitely using momentum. It is a game of jumping after all. The end section definitely makes you stretch your arms out. Not downright horrible as long as you're careful. And how fitting you end by climbing up none other than... crowbars! I was able to finish the tutorial in 12 and a half minutes! Not too bad! From here on out, it's time to check out stages. Now I don't know if these are just default in game stages or community stages. Either way, it's time for a low gravity experience. Now you'd think... oh! Low gravity! That should make things easy!... oh how naive of you... It looks easy. But one wrong move or just little slip up and you fall all the way back down. And you have to fucking wait so you can even touch the first few bars of the level. And the brown platforms fall if you hang on to them for too long. Eventually I make it to a green section to which I soon realize gravity actually flows in a different direction. I'm get pushed to the right here. Even with my falls I still take, I still feel myself slowly getting consistent. Until suddenly it feels like I can no longer jump up as high as I could before. Was I already getting tired? Well after accidentally discovering a menu I could access, I realized I suddenly was somehow put into classic physics. Well that's not good. I must've hit a button behind me to change my physics. So glad I could see them. Changing physics back definitely made a difference. Clearing the green section is a little tricky. You have to jump to a swinging platform and... also not fall off when you make it on. But it's not too long until you reach the pink area. With gravity going to the left here. I survived it initially for about... 2 seconds. I was able to actually find ways to more consistently get past the green section. For one... being careful.

You can just reach each little grabbable section without really needing to jump. And on the bar closest to the swinging platform. Again, you can just kind of reach it and not jump to it. That made it a bit easier. As long as you're careful. I did make it past the pink section too to make it do these windmill things with small bars you can hang on to. Sadly I never made it past this part. And it's even more sad too because it looks like if I would've, I might have reached a checkpoint. I could've made it if I was a bit more careful. But alas I tried to play more the luck game and just jump. That didn't work so well. I never did make it past the pink section again. I think I was getting tired. VR games are very much a workout for sure. And what I played was an... EXTREMELY SMALL sample size of what the game has to offer. I know there is much more to check out. And you better believe I will come back to this game. Soon? eh... well like I've said I have a way too fucking huge collection of games.

Plus I do like playing games that don't murder my arms.
