I love this gift.

This is the only game in The Winter Jackpot that was gifted to me. My good online friendo AcousticJamm gifted me ROGUE LIGHT DECK BUILDER and said... well nothing really. Other than... "Check your gifts". So I just had to play it. I couldn't let him down. Could I?

So my husband is a phone screen with a man face case... good start already. So I am building decks... if you couldn't fucking tell. It's all about hammering nails on to wood and also not destroying my hand in the process which yes you can do. Oh in case you didn't know, yeah just like the title implies, the light is rogue. It likes to be mr. funny guy and shut off whenever the fuck it feels like it. And also turn back on whenever the fuck it feels like it. I get a dollar for every plank I nail but I also lose a dollar for every time I bash my damn hand. So I better be careful. Oh yeah. You can also squash little buggers for a little extra dough! Also randomly I got a glass nail to punch into one of my planks. Why? I don't know. But I got a couple extra dollars out of it! So I get out of doing the first deck with 53 bucks to my name. Only 999,947 dollars left until I can be free! So let's see... it take me about 15 minutes for 53 dollars of work. I need 1 million for freedom... ah this will only take me... sample in 8 hours of sleep a day... 295 days. Or 7,080 hours. Yep I'll get this done in no time. Though I suppose this is where the upgrades come into play. Which I didn't know how they worked the first time I realized. XD! I just clicked on Stocks not thinking they'd do anything. But after I realized the upgrade cost was in dollars... you'd think I'd know that. But I guess it helps me make more money going into my 2nd deck? I actually get a couple extra custom nails here. Including a nail who I think is in love with me? Sure yeah okay. And an alien nail too. Swaying back and forth but I still pin it down into the wood. Seems like some of these special nails guarantee me "perfect" hits which get me a couple extra more bucks! Towards the end of my 2nd deck here, I suddenly get bomb nails. Well I don't think that's a fun thing to see if those nails fucking explode when I hit them I mean good grief! But I finish this deck and have 92 bucks to my name. And now I have a better understanding of the upgrades. I get a stronger hand and hammer and make bugs more valuable and easier to squish. Oh and by bugs more valuable, they're 50 bucks now. Well damn now I HAVE to squish them. I get another glass nail and a luck nail too! You know because it has a 4 leaf clover on it.

Why not. I don't need sleep right? I can be visited by Mr. Creepy Skull nail. He's been looking for me huh? Don't care. In the wood you go. Also it's during this time I have an... epiphany. I don't think I need to wait for special nails to get perfect hits. If I hit a regular nail just right, that also counts as a perfect hit. And mind you, perfect hits pay extra too. Mr. Skull returns to warn me that something is coming. Not here yet... but it's coming. I could care the fuck less IN THE WOOD YOU GO! And then he comes back. Again, I don't care what's coming. I need to get this deck done. After pounding another alien, I finish the job with over 300 bucks to my name. I upgrade the wood which also increases odds of... cash planks? What are cash planks? I also upgrade the bulb to make it not as flickery. More deck building time. I still don't care about what Mr. Skull says. Here is where I get my first cash plank. Depending on how fast I get it nailed, I can get some... well... cash! Unfortunately I was JUST slow with it and wasn't able to get anything out of it. Oh well. Maybe next time. I do a little better on the next cash plank, getting 15 bucks out of it. Not bad! 456 bucks to my name after this deck. I upgrade my hammer here and move on. Perfect hits now are 25 bucks. Now that is a fucking pay day. More nonsense from Mr. Skull. I am starting to think he's bluffing. Just over 1,800 to my name now after this deck. My bank grows more and more! I upgrade my STONKS, make bugs more valuable, make my hand stronger, upgrade the nails, and the planks too. Just finishing a nail now is over 20 bucks. I mean shit I'm going to hit a million in no time! Bugs are 250 now. Yes. Two hundred and fucking fifty. And if I am truly perfect with a nail? That's 675! If building decks were like this in real life, I think I might actually consider this to be my job. Mr. Skull the bluffer is back... oh... well it would appear he has gone full demonic... wait so he was warning me about himself? I get 280 out of another cash plank. I end this deck with over 3800 to my name. Not bad for a first day on the job. I must say, I definitely think Jamm gave me a winner here! I surprisingly liked this game and I am interested in playing it in the future!
