It's not him. It's her.

I always thought Mr. Wheel was a crazy character. But now I see that as of lately, he wasn't just being goofy. He was under the influence of one other's power. Mita. For a 3rd straight time in a row I am playing MiSide. It won't let me escape until I've finished the damn game.
So where I left off wasn't where I left off from my previous article on this game. I had actually ended up playing MiSide on my 2nd channel because when I thought I was playing 1 of 2 final bonus games, suddenly the wheel like... glitched and 10 trillion MiSide spaces were added to it. So I'd recommend checking out my VOD for my 2nd episode of MiSide either on the 2nd channel or NeedNoVODs when I get the VOD uploaded there. Soooo... my stream gets hijacked. Ain't that nice? And there I see her. Mita. I think there's more than just the Mita's in the game. Now I am convinced that there is a Mita really out there... watching me. And that's fucking horrifying. And there I am. Dumped right back to the fucking game. Don't get me wrong it's a good game. Really good. But fuck I have other games I want to play dammit! And no I couldn't just go back and respin the wheel. Mr. Wheel was ERRORed out. So I was stuck here. So I meet with smol Mita. Like the small avatar from the mobile game. She offers to help me out. I have to help smol Mita find smol key in her smol living room. Then she can access smol... metal melting room. Wait why couldn't I just pick her up and put her in there? It's an open diorama. Smol Mita has me help her drop iron into a pipe, then wood, and then pump up the machine as molten hot iron begins to fill in a key mold. From there I can take the key and I am back in the house. Dark house. Again. Cool so very quickly I am shitting my pants. Entering the bedroom-HELL NO I AM OUT! I don't want to deal with whatever the fuck is in there that I just saw. Though albeit, it's harmless... though creepy seeing the hundreds of Mita's just... standing there.... MENACINGLY! Though one actually has life in her. In this version of the house, I can actually go out the exit door. Doesn't take me outside but more so to a staircase leading me to an arcade cabinet. So we're making Mita's. So that's how they spread. I have to scan them, test emotions and movements and if everything seems right, I give it the skin. If not, I kill it. I only have to test 4 dummies. 1 of which was a tutorial. And I get through it flawlessly. Hell yeah. So all these Mita's are dummies. Many obviously... rejected dummies. And they don't play nice. Though if I stare at them, they freeze in fear.
When a Mita gets a fresh skin, they don't really know how to... live. It takes them a minute to develop before they can go out and about. Despite this game only being up to 1.9, there are actually infinite versions of the game. Mita explains it on the chalkboard. Sure there's a version 1.1. But there's also 1.11, 1.12, 1.13, and so on. I'd assume typically these 1.1X updates are usually things like bug fixes. Either way, each version as X amount of Mita's and X amount of houses. Seems like this Mita and "Pretty Mita" were trying to find a fast path to version 1.11. We're in 1.15 right now. Mita explains that... my ring is essentially also helping me travel through game versions. Where I'll be running into 1.11 to get to the core where Sleepy Mita resides. Looking at the board, version 1.1 seemed to have only 1 house ever. Perhaps 1.11 was dropped the second 1.1 was released as a very instant bug fix. Sleepy Mita is in 1.1. This Mita I speak to says she's from 1.5. Which is where I actually started at the beginning of the game. Once I was brought into the game world. So this pranky Mita was the one who thought she was hehe funny and put those creepy messages on the wall. Gee thanks for giving me a fucking heart attack. So I have to be very... VERY careful getting around these dummies. And with a house pitch black and with a flashlight that barely works, yeah it's not easy but I some how do it. Oh yeah don't go near the dummy in the bedroom. It'll get to you. So now it's a maze I encounter. I am amazed I get past those dummies. But there's more on the lower level. Again, keep looking at them. Funnily this area almost gives off that POOLS/Liminalcore/Dreamcore feel. Once I make it to the center, I climb up the ladder, I don't jump down the giant pit I see and go through the metal door. Probably the most different looking area I've seen through the whole game. There's a couple blocked paths I need to open by playing some short puzzle games. Connect the green dot to the gray dot or dots. Sometimes I need to determine my path if there is a wall in the way. The first puzzle set is pretty easy. I head up and see another one of those dummies from before. I find another one of those puzzle machines. These next puzzles here are a bit tougher but... honestly still not really that hard.
SUDDENLY, REFRIGERATOR! Wow Mita is so funny... is that crazy Mita? It's hard to tell but at least what I consider... main Mita's have hair distinguishable enough to tell which one is which. And I swear this one looks like crazy Mita. Well shit I want to get away from her as fast as possible just to be sure. And now I am in... well things really take a turn here... electronic computer land? It just feels very electric over here. Oh yeah, the train here is a Mita because fuck it right? Oh yeah it's not a smooth ride either. I have to bust down monsters in this short little mini-game. Not at all challenging really. Even if it does speed up like... a MINUTE amount at the end. There's another arcade machine here but I think this is pure bonus. I get nothing out of playing this Hetoor game other than a Mita skin (i think). It's the most legally distinct Doom game I've ever seen. Wasn't great at it but I busted down the demons and get helluvah win! Now comes the next actual part. We're in Mita's room but... a lot of shit is broken and Mita is nothing more but a shadow. Seems like this Mita is trying to remember but... can't. There's pieces of a picture scattered through the room. The first you get when you stare at the clock on the wall long enough. The 2nd on the table next to the front side of her bed. And one in the drawers holding the alarm clock and little Mita figure. Oh yeah don't let shadow Mita touch you. I find another piece in the drawers under the clock and the last one is kind of genius. There are these little error boxes that spawn in and when you close enough of them, you get another piece. I'd thought I got all of them but putting them together didn't seem to do anything. I thought maybe I was missing another piece? But I looked all around the room and couldn't find squat. All while Mita was just rolling into a ball and being depressing. After a while I just realized that... the pieces do have to be aligned good enough for me to glue them together and give them to shadow Mita. When I do, she starts to become a little more normal. Albeit with no face. Someone took that away from her. Which Mita did it? Can't say for sure. Looking in the wardrobe, there's nothing. Behind me, a pile of dummies-okay seriously? Oh good they're not dead. Welp. Time to run.
This time trying to get away from them is a little tougher. Also I forgot I could look at them to freeze them. It takes me a few tries to get past them, but when I do, I'm in version 1.1. Where sleepy Mita resides. So peaceful... so adorable... I'd almost hate to wake her. Poor girl probably doesn't get a whole lot of sleep if she's the only single Mita of this version of the game. Out the exit door is a big metal door and 2 levers. Seemingly I have to pull both to get the large metal door to open. But the levers are very far away from each other. Well shit I really need Mita's help here. Eventually I do wake her up... barely... some coffee will help... also... barely... holy fuck she is the definition of sleepy. Hell even standing up she falls asleep and I have to keep shaking her up until we finally get the levers pulled. But hey she has strength to open the slow ass metal door. It reveals a small... messy room. And all there is is a single button. That don't do jack shit. Welp that was a waste of time. Time to get out of he-why is my arm flat? Why is my hand flat? Why is my vision going wonky ass? Oh shit here we go again. And now... well fuck I'm in a visual novel. And the game has saved here so I think this is a good place to stop! Okay for real I really do need to play a new game. I've already play MiSide 3 times now and I really want to give a new game the spotlight now. I will go back to MiSide when I get the chance.
It's the Winter Jackpot. Not the MiSide Jackpot for crying out loud.
