i'm on traffic duty. (sigh)... well... I'm still enforcing the law. So I am issuing parking tickets. I swear if I see a car parked in a no parking zone I will put every ticket and boot on that damn thing. And also look out for litterers and jaywalkers. After inspecting some cars and also getting some help from the tutorial, I put down my first ticket. Oh yeah I am getting closer to that murder case. Things are clean and smooth for the most part. Well until I meet my first greeter. Who I also thought littered. Hey the top info bar said it! I had to give this loser a ticket! But alas I was indeed wrong and this woman did not litter. But hey I just gave... the station? Government? I don't know who these people pay but they just got 25 bucks out of my fuck up! Some idiot parked their car on the sidewalk. That's a fucking ticket. It's not that hard to park your damn car the right way. I think all this stress makes me want to have a drink. How about from "Wine & Liquou s"? no... really... that's the damn name did someone have a stroke making that logo? I was going to fine a vehicle for being parked the wrong way. But then a guy littered and all my plans changed. Oh yeah there was a car blasting out smoke too. But it was actively moving and I had no clue how to use hand gestures despite the game giving me a tutorial. And then I leave my assigned area so... welp I guess that car is smoking forever. At least I can get a dude for jaywalking. Also I notice as I check these cars, a lot of people have invalid registration or insurance or fuck even both. How the fuck are they still driving? As I am inspecting a parking lot filled to the brim with cars, I get an alert that some littered. Though I think a problem I have here is that sometimes I can't see who did it. Even if the game puts an arrow on them. They will have moved out of the way so fast that they get off scott free. Now that's going to haunt my damn dreams knowing I let someone litter and get away with it. There's also a few cars owned to those who have expired IDs. I want to assume I can maybe get these cars removed? But I am not sure really how to handle these ones. Like I have to wait for the car owner to return before I can ticket them. Because I can't put a ticket on the car itself. There's no option for an expired ID ticket. Only expired plates.

My shift ends either way and I am able to clock out. I get my report and unlock some goodies too! Including a radar gun which I can use next time! With a radar gun, no not a regular gun which I accidentally pull out, I can measure the speed drivers are going. With the street speed limit in the bottom right. I do have to make sure I can get a picture of the license plate. Catching them speeding just isn't enough. And no you can't ticket cars while someone is driving them. I wanted to. But I can't. Lucky fucker. I do catch a couple vehicles. But holy fuck is it hard given I have to be so quick and get a good shot. Easier to catch a jaywalker. I set this shift time to be shorter so it ended quicker. I got a photo camera so I'll probably be able to use that next time. Oh yeah I feel it now, before too long I will be the best officer in town!
