Rule 1, don't fix the lights.

Well how funny is this? Mr. Wheel has given us both Among Us games on the same day. Sammy with Among Us 3D, me with the original Among Us. On Polus of course! My one and only day of the year where I play Among Us.

I don't really have time to change my costume before going into my first game... albeit I should've done that in the main menu. Either way, I hop in as a crewmate. I chart the course in the dropship, and head to both storage and outside the dropship to refuel the engines. I scan my boarding pass and swipe my ID card in the office. I do the first stage of fixing the weather node then head up to O2 to clean out the trash and then monitor the tree. Giving it the right amount of Carbon Dioxides, Nutrients, Radiation and Water! The Rad stands for Radiation... if you were curious. As I go back to the refuel station, a body is reported... all that time and only 1 is dead? Yikes. KitCat claims to be an impostor... first of all... why? Second of all... are they a Jester?... wait there is no Jester role in vnailla Among Us. No one was voted out and now I finish the refueling. I finish fixing the weather node in the lab. I watch a couple players scan in the small medbay area. Since visual tasks are turned on. So it's easy clears for those 2. Oh and a 3rd player too. Another body gets reported. I know 3 who are cleared. And one of those I cleared report who the impostors are. So at least I can trust their words. We vote out the first dude, and we were down to 1 imp. Sabotaging lights doesn't do much besides take a few extra time. Was it KitCat who was indeed an impostor? Yes actually it was. Nice! First match win! Another match is a go and once again I am crewmate. Charting the course again in dropship, and begin to inspect samples in medbay. Speaking of medbay, I have a scan to do there. So hopefully I can get myself cleared. So that's why I head to specimen room to unlock the manifolds. Hint, click 1 through 10... In the office is where I check vitals where I see 1 dead. And seconds later, the body is reported. I do see a report button and a player nearby. I couldn't tell exactly who it was. I let people know who I thought I saw when I saw the report button. But I wasn't confident. Seems like someone else though was... confident enough that the dude they told us to vote... was not the impostor. That doesn't do a whole lot of helping. I figure I have time to fix the lights.

I head to electrical, I open the door, I die? Already? What is the kill cooldown short as shit? Apparently. I thought I would have time to fix the lights. But nope. Fucking impostor was waiting for me. Oh cool now I can't even clear myself. (sigh). My luck. But the crew did vote out the dude who was unbelievably wrong on who they were so confident on who the impostor was. Well no sense waiting for people to watch me scan. I scan my pass in office and another body is reported. Somehow from the conversation the players have, they vote out Flufycloud... who wasn't an impostor... you know our wrong votes only helps the impostors. Weapons and Communications lets me download and upload data. O2, and Laboratory have wires to fix. But by the time I can get to the final set, the impostors win. Maybe had we not had so many wrong votes... Welp. So anyways I find a nice Christmas hat to put on as I am once again a crewmate. This time, I have keys to insert... so what are the point of those keys? Electrical and O2 have wires to cut. And O2 has canisters to fill. I monitor up the tree and destroy some asteroids in Weapons. I wait for the lights to be put back on because I am not risking it. I start to reboot Wi-Fi in communications and begin inspecting samples in the lab. I clear a couple players who scan in medbay and finish up the wires. After a... pretty lovely meeting, we don't have info on who the impostor is. So we skip the vote. And I head up to communications to fix the sabotaged systems... who sabotages communications? I finish rebooting the router. Lights go off with me in decontamination. And once again, I wait it out and hope like hell I don't get died. Thankfully, I do not. But a poor soul did. I am the only one to skip the vote. But Crewmajor is voted out. Were they an impostor? Nope. This group is horrible at voting. Reactors are sabotaged and quickly fixed. Not much to do now. Besides scout out, check cameras, hide while lights are out, pointless emergency meeting called, reactor sabotaged and fixed again, oof 2 more people died. Can we vote out the right killer? Not if the dude who reported also died. I find a body right in the office and report it. I did see someone headed away from that direction. Could they be responsible?

Well not if fucking somehow they convince the crew that no I was actually the impostor and that I was self reporting. Wow I bet the crew feels so fucking stupid that I actually reported the correct killer and they voted me out instead. Maybe they'll listen to me in the next game. After all, I am a detective. No Dropship tasks. Right to the lab where I align the telescope. Then specimen to show I know how to count to 10. A boarding pass is scanned in the office, and then I clean out the trash. That nasty trash. In the boiler room where I begin the replace water jugs tasks. And then right above the security camera room where I fix up some wires. As I start to fix the weather node, a body is reported... oh shit these impostors are doing work. 4 bodies? Yikes. I guess we cut our choice down to Not RAD. Once again this group proves they are shit at voting as we were... well no not we. They were wrong again. I skipped. So I head off to... uh... why is a body reported? Why and how? Dude claims they just saw a report button. That still loses me. Since bodies should be cleared after meetings. I fix up the communications system and decide to use my detective abilities. Does it really help me? Uh... hell if I know. I fix up some more wires and finish replacing the water jugs. I find a poor little body in lab but have no possible suspect. But I guess the crew votes out Pretty1. They were wrong. Again. Good fuck. We lost because we can't make right votes for shit. Though albeit I was one of those who voted for Pretty so... I guess I am equally as such a dumbass. But given that this crew votes horribly, maybe that would give me a chance to win if I get impostor and I am a crewmate fucking dammit. So it's keys in the dropship, fixing the weather node, recording temperature in the lab, scanning my pass in the office, downloading and uploading data. starting to replace the water jugs, monitoring the tree in O2, and finishing the water jugs. Holy shit I just speedran my tasks. Alright I'm done. Now it's time for the crew to finish their tasks. But first, time to report a body that was sadly sliced right in the bathroom in lab. I mean come on they just wanted to take a piss.

I had no vital information on a suspect so we just skip. I knew checking security cameras would haunt me one day. Literally because it turns me into a haunter. As I would go on to haunt the dude who killed me. TreeWife's body is reported but there's not enough information to make anyone a suspect. Wow the crew is doing a good voting job for once? As I continue to haunt shiee, my killer, I witness them murdering Mason. Rest in peace Mason. You were a good crewmate. You were given vengeance though as during the meeting, shiee was voted out. And then became a sad little dorkel and quit the game. As if I would ever rage quit like that..... So anyways, I haunt Flufycloud around. The other impostor. We should have a good shot at winning since the crew is so close to being done with tasks. Flufy would end up killing Observer. But it goes to bite them in the ass as by the time they found the vent, PinkySus was on the way down and Tinteddart says they saw flufy do the killing on the cams. That's what we call... BUSTED! So we crewmates finally get the win and I think that's enough Among Us'ing for one day. I got my yearly fill, I'll see you all again next year for my next Among Us stream.

Not that I know for sure it'll be a year though. It might be 364 days. You never know.
