you can be sus in the snow!

hello my pepes! i am honored to be the first miicord crew streamer to host a christmas block stream! we all know i am clearly the greatest miicord crew streamer ever! the rest of the crew are little wimpy dunces lmao! mr. wheel was spun and gave me project winter. a game that looked interesting... on paper... but when i got into it, i would be... a little slightly disappointed.

very quickly i found out this was an among us clone. but instead of crewmates and impostors, it was survivors and traitors. hell there are even roles too. you can exile players to vote them off too... yeah it's absolutely among us. and when you get in game, you have tasks you're given. oh my goodness this is absolutely among us! of course that isn't without saying there are differences. like an emote system, inventory, mine and craft system, guns because why the fuck not? there's also animals that roam the map. given you have health, warmth, and hunger bars, i assume you're going to need... food... there are also crates and hatches. those of which only traitors can access. hatches being like vents... i assume at least. the power station needs to be repaired with electronic and mechanical scraps you can craft from collecting wood and ore. i feel like i got the gist of the game so i go ahead and find a public lobby to enter... oh shit it's proximity chat... you know games with that always go... well. right off the bat, dude's like... you got a mic? now yes i could audibly talk to you on stream? but my voice was going through the laptop and out to your speakers. i didn't really have a way to talk in game which was being played on the desktop. despite a kick threat, they still let me play! hell yeah! i was given the role of scout. i can use hatches and can see where people are on the map if they have the same color radio as i. i just focus on crafting electronic and mechanical scraps. and also getting a pickaxe and axe first so i can chop down trees and rocks faster. too bad rocks are scarce to get by. by the time i get to the power station, i found out now it only needs mechanical scraps. so much for me having already crafted electronic scraps. when i reach a small bunker, something really weird happens. the screen glitches as i turn into a nutcracker... now that is one random ass event. the game mentions a truth serum lab which inside contains... a serum that someone can use to reveal a role. along with a lazarus machine which i can use to resurrect someone assuming i have fur, raw meat, and a human heart... what the fuck does this have to do with me turning into a fucking nutcracker?

answer... we've all been struck by mass hysteria. it says all players look like... rabbits? sorry? i highly disagree. yes we've changed but i don't think rabbits and nutcrackers look anything alike. eventually the curse was lifted and i did find the truth serum lab. couldn't seem to enter it though. also holy fuck i was getting severely hungry. there were some wolves nearby... but trying to kill them absolutely backfired. i thought from what it looked like that the dude who came up to me was healing me. but turned out it was something completely different and i eventually became a ghost. so now all i could do was run around. looks like ghosts have abilities where i can help those still surviving. whether it's warming them up, giving them food, healing them, making them colder. i could also vote on global events to happen too. such as thundersnow. yeah you don't see that often do you? thunder during snow? i just kind of run around watching the others bumble around as they gather materials for their survival. unlike among us, there's no tasks i can do now that i am dead. it's almost cute seeing the others thinking i was a killer. i wasn't. i don't know how or why they thought i was a killer. i mean for my first and probably only time playing this game, maybe my movements were... weird. but that's understandable right? those who were still alive were able to get the helipad fixed up before whatever that death looking timer in the upper left hit zero. then at that point it was time to call for rescue from the cabin radio. got to move quickly though because the mega blizzard is in effect. and the cabin is no longer a friend to you. these people got to go. and the time is now! unfortunately it seems like despite the helicopter being there, nobody could get on in time and the survivors were unsuccessful. ouch. hey... at least i didn't get to be disappointed. i died like 3 hours ago lmao! oh yeah one single match takes like 5 fucking years here. it's not like among us where you can finish a game in 10 minutes. i was going to tell the group that whoever made this game played among us for 5 minutes and then were like... okay we have our game idea! but seems like they were more focused on kicking me out asap... i guess they don't love having the kick and rock ass bobby who is so cool in their lobby. oh well for them lmao!

to me personally, i wish this game could've been better. it's not a horrible game by any definition. it's positively reviewed. it's just to me, it didn't hit my interest levels. but again, not saying you shouldn't play it. who knows maybe you'll pick up this game and you'll find it enjoyable! sure i might be a little harsh given this was my first time playing it...

and quite frankly also my last lmao!
